Upcoming PS5 Game is Basically a Brand-New Version of Bully

For years, fans have hoped for a new game like Bully. Now, indie developer Refugium Games is trying to deliver with Agefield High: Rock the School, an open-world school simulator. Originally planned for PC only, the game is now also coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, letting players on multiple platforms experience this spiritual successor to Bully and see how it compares to the original.

Even though it’s an independent game and people were naturally unsure about it, Agefield High: Rock the School has gained a following from fans who have been hoping for a sequel to Bully. When Dan Houser, the creator of Bully, explained why Bully 2 was cancelled, many fans gave up on that sequel and started looking at Agefield High: Rock the School as a possible alternative.

The story of Agefield High: Rock the School centers around Sam, a student facing tough choices as he approaches graduation. He’ll deal with conflicts involving bullies, family, and teachers, all while trying to navigate friendships, personal growth, romance, and the desire to rebel. While Agefield High: Rock the School might not boast cutting-edge graphics or gameplay, it’s clearly inspired by the game Bully, aiming for a similar experience.

Since a sequel to Bully seems unlikely, fans are looking to Agefield High: Rock the School to recapture some of the fun of the original game, which many remember fondly. Whether Agefield High can live up to the excitement surrounding it remains to be seen. If you’re interested, keep an eye out for news about its release date on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
