As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of farming under my belt, I’ve seen the ebb and flow of various crops and production chains in the digital fields. In Farming Simulator 25, I can confidently say that the Production Chains are not just about planting and harvesting; they’re about smart investment and strategic planning.
In Farming Simulator 25, you can generate revenue in numerous methods. Initially, consider planting and reaping crops to gain a substantial income. But when your farm’s finances are steady, it might be wise to explore the concept of Production Chains for even greater earnings.
In simpler terms, Production Chains serve as methods for players to manufacture diverse processed goods and sell them to local businesses. While they may require an initial investment, their earning capacity is significant, making them a wise choice. Given that there are 15 different Production Chains available, it’s no surprise that many players are curious about which ones offer the best returns on investment.
5. Cement Factory
Turn Stone Into Profit
- Cost: $370,000
- Material Used: Stone
In the world of this game, I find the Cement Factory to be a fantastic solution for stones amassed during rock removal contracts, a task many players embark on at the game’s outset. Quickly, your inventory fills with these stones, and they’re not particularly useful beyond the Production Chain. However, the beauty of this factory lies in its ability to transform those seemingly ordinary stones into cement bricks, bags, roof plates, and an array of unique items that would otherwise remain out of reach.
There are some problems with investing in the Cement Factory, however, because it’s not as diverse as the other Production Chains. There’s also an expensive asking price to buy it at $370,000, which is one of the most expensive on the list. Despite these issues, it remains a nice Chain to invest in to ensure that something that’s essentially waste can be turned into profit.
4. Oil Mill
Good Profit Potential
- Cost: $240,000
- Material Used: Canola, Rice, Long Grain Rice, Sunflowers, Olives
As a dedicated gamer in Farming Simulator 25, I find that the Oil Mill is an investment worth considering, especially if you’re focusing on oil-seed crops like olives and sunflowers. If you’re into canola farming, this chain could be incredibly profitable. It’s easy to plant, maintain, and harvest, making it a lucrative choice. Plus, it’s one of the more affordable production chains to get started with, priced at $240,000.
Keep in mind that cultivating crops such as Olives can demand substantial investments. Therefore, it might be more suitable to invest in this chain during later stages of the game. Nevertheless, it’s an excellent option due to its variety, relatively low initial investment, and swift monthly production cycle for its products.
3. Sawmill
Generate Multiple Income Streams
- Cost: $300,000
- Material Used: Wood
The Sawmill is a fantastic Production Chain because of its potential to create multiple income streams. Wood is the only thing needed for it, and the resulting products can be used to create even more at the Cooper and Carpentry Chains. As such, it not only creates its own income stream, but has great synergy with other Chains. This means creating multiple stable income streams becomes a lot easier when investing in a Sawmill.
Furthermore, it provides a refreshing shift from the farming and yielding gameplay. It offers a break from this cycle, making it enjoyable to have another source of earnings. Initially, a significant amount of equipment is required along with an investment of $300,000 in the Chain. Despite the high upfront cost, it proves worthwhile in the long term.
2. Canning Factory
Diverse Range of Products
- Cost: $330,000
- Material Used: Vegetables
In Farming Simulator 25, a fresh assortment of crops has been added, including Peas and Spinach. The Canning Factory stands out as an excellent opportunity for farmers to try out these new crops, but it’s also a profitable production chain worth considering due to the vast variety it provides. Essentially, any vegetable can be utilized in the Cannery to generate a multitude of dishes, making this chain a suitable pick for players who are passionate about farming.
As a devoted farmer in this game, I’ve noticed that several vegetables used in the Canning Factory are high-earners, much like the Bakery boosts profits from popular baked goods. This means that the Factory shares the same perk as the Bakery, doubling earnings from crops that are already doing well.
1. Bakery
Massive Return on Investment
- Cost: $150,000
- Material Used: Wheat and Rice
As a gamer in Farming Simulator 25, running a bakery is hands down the most rewarding production chain I’ve encountered. It leverages basic crops to generate an impressive income source. To kickstart the money-making process, you need wheat and rice. These are not only easy to farm but also abundant in this game.
Investing in The Bakery is not only the most affordable Production Chain at $150,000, but it also allows for an early start and continuous earnings throughout the game. With its simple-to-cultivate crops, this investment quickly transforms into a reliable income source. Moreover, as the bakery accumulates enough raw materials, you’ll be able to create cakes for additional profits!
