The release of the Riven Tides update for ARC Raiders is almost here – less than two weeks away! Embark Studios has been sharing sneak peeks of the new map with players through a recent email campaign, and the latest email includes even more images of what’s to come in the update.
So, ARC Raiders came out back in October 2025, and Embark Studios quickly dropped their first new map, Stella Montis. They’ve been adding stuff since then, but honestly, nothing major like a whole new map has come out since the North Line update in November. Good news though – that’s about to change! Embark hasn’t given us a firm date yet, but the Riven Tides update, which includes a new map, is scheduled to hit sometime this month, and a lot of people are guessing it’ll be on Tuesday, April 28th. I’m really excited to check it out!
ARC Raiders Shows Off More of Its Next Map
This week, Embark Studios has been sharing glimpses of the upcoming map for ARC Raiders with players via email. The latest update includes two new images of the beach-themed map. One shows a rocky beach covered in broken umbrellas. The other is particularly intriguing, featuring a tall, three-story diving board likely containing valuable loot, along with abandoned water slides and a dried-up pool.
The email to players contained a mysterious message hinting at the upcoming update for ARC Raiders and a new map. The message reads: “I went past the pool, along the ridge, and down the steps. I’m picking up a faint signal near the water – it might be old equipment. I’ll investigate further at first light. Don’t tell Shani I’m back; she’ll want a whole team, but I want to see if this is worth the effort.” The message also mentions “something further down the shore,” possibly a clue about a new, large ARC enemy coming with the Riven Tides release.
Players have gotten a sneak peek at the environments for the next map in ARC Raiders, but details about the major new enemy in the Riven Tides update are still unknown. Some fans think it might be a flying enemy, possibly connected to a UFO seen in a previous update. Others believe the new threat will be the Bishop, a character highlighted in Embark’s development diaries.

The ‘Riven Tides’ update will be the last major update for ARC Raiders planned for 2026. The development team, Embark, has been consistently releasing new content monthly for the past four months. It’s unclear if they’ll continue at this rate after April, but they have confirmed that several new maps are planned for the game this year, meaning more significant updates will follow ‘Riven Tides’.
