The “Once Upon a Time” job in Mouse: P.I. for Hire is set on Tinsel Ave. While completing it, you can find several collectibles: a Baseball Card, two issues of Newspaper (numbers 28800 and 27790), Comic Book #12, and a Letter to Wanda. You’ll also discover three Schematics, which can be used to improve your weapons. This guide details exactly where to find all of these collectibles on Tinsel Ave in Mouse: P.I. for Hire.
All Tinsel Ave Collectible Locations in Mouse P.I. for Hire (Once Upon a Time By Tinsel Bros)
Newspaper No. 27790
You’ll find the Mouseburg Herald No. 27790 located behind the bar inside the first building you enter on this level.
Baseball Card
You’ll find a typewriter in the room right after Gabe Clarkle’s. Directly across from it is a plain wall. Blow up that wall with dynamite, then follow the tunnel it reveals. If it’s dark, use your flashlight. At the end of the tunnel, you’ll discover the Justin Young Baseball Card sitting on a crate.
This wall is easily missed, particularly if players are rushing through the area.
Newspaper No. 28800
Head back to the main route and go through the small outdoor area, walking past Gabe Clarkle. Inside the next building, go through the first door on your left – it leads to a bathroom. You’ll find the “Mouse: P.I. for Hire” collectible in the very last stall.
Letter to Wanda
Okay, so I found this collectible, but it’s kinda tricky. You have to start the ‘Things We Keep’ side job before you can even grab it. Once you do, head to the family show set – it’s the one with the kitchen, couches, and a bunch of tables. The collectible is sitting on a bookshelf in the southwest corner of that set. Pretty easy once you know where to look!
Schematic
You’ll find a Schematic on a table close to the stuntman who’s stuck on Tinsel Avenue, right along the main path.
Comic Book #12
Okay, so after you meet the Pyrotechnist, you’ll head into this medieval-themed area. There’s an arena there, and it’s pretty wild – you can actually eat a hot pepper to get a boost, then you’re swarmed by enemies! If you look in the southeast corner, there’s a little shed, and Comic Book #12 is stuck to the wall inside. It’s easy to miss, but definitely worth grabbing!
Schematic
Keep following the main path until you get to the top of the animation room. Then, swing across to the desk area and pick up a Schematic from the drafting table.
Schematic
After you get the Rear Gate Key, leave the dressing room and use it to open the door to your right. Inside that room, unlock the door on your left, follow the path, and use the image provided to unlock the safe you find. The safe contains a Schematic.
Do You Need All Tinsel Ave Collectibles?
You don’t have to find every collectible on Tinsel Ave to finish the game. But grabbing the Schematic will help you play better, and collecting the Comic Book and Newspaper will count towards 100% completion. If you’re aiming to find everything, make sure to get those items before you leave the area.
