In Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, you have lots of ways to customize your Mii characters. You can change their hairstyles and appearances, and even adjust their personalities to create unique individuals. It’s really enjoyable just designing your Miis before you even start playing! If you need to change something about a Mii you’ve already made, or if you want to delete one, this guide will show you how to edit and remove Miis in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream.
How to Edit Miis in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream
After you make a Mii and they’ve moved to your island, you can press the Y button to bring up a menu of all your Miis. Choose the Mii you want to find, then press A twice to instantly go to where they are on the island.
So, checking out a character brings up their info on the left side of the screen – you can see how happy they are, how good our relationship is, and stuff like that. Then, if you hit the ‘Y’ button while you’re looking at that, it’ll open up the ‘Mii Menu’ for even more options.
This menu lets you customize your characters’ outfits and see details about them, like their personality traits, how they relate to others, and what items they have. You can also find the ‘Edit Mii’ feature at the bottom.
Choose this to view all of their information. Then, select the specific detail you want to edit – like gender or voice – and you’ll be able to customize it.
To change how a Mii looks, choose ‘Edit Face’ to adjust their features. You can also use the ‘Body Type’ option on the same screen to change their height and build – making them taller, shorter, wider, or thinner.
The ‘Edit Mii’ menu lets you easily adjust a Mii’s personality. You’ll find it at the bottom of the screen, and it takes you back to where you choose their traits. If you’re not happy with how a Mii is acting compared to the person they’re based on, you can fine-tune their Movement, Speech, Energy, Attitude, and Overall personality here.
How to Delete a Mii
If you want to get rid of a Mii who’s living on your island, you can choose the ‘Remove Mii’ option at the top-right of the Mii editing screen. You’ll then be told there’s a fee to move them out – it cost me £33. If you’re okay with paying, select ‘Remove’ and they’ll leave your island.
Deleting this Mii might affect any connections or relationships it had with your other Miis.
Even though Nintendo doesn’t make it easy, you can still share screenshots or videos of your Mii characters from Tomodachi Life if you know how to do it.
