In Crimson Desert, there are 6 Bow Challenges (Goyen’s Advice) to complete. You can unlock each one by finding special Sealed Abyss Artifacts, and we’ve listed their locations below to help you find them.
This guide includes everything you need to succeed in the Bow Challenge – the correct rewards, how to unlock them, and useful tips to help you complete all six challenges. With a little skill, you’ll be mastering the bow in no time!
You can only finish the Bow Challenges using Kliff. We suggest looking at our Infinite Arrow Build to make them much easier.
How to Get & Complete Bow Aimed at Fate I in Crimson Desert
- How to Get: Obtained from the Sealed Abyss Artifact found at Blenbright Farm, Hernad. Located far south of the “D” in “Hernand” to the west of the actual farmhouse.
- Challenge: Defeat 5 enemies with a bow within 60 seconds.
- Reward: x1 Abyss Artifact
The ‘Bow Aimed at Fate I’ quest is simple to finish using Explosive Arrows, and it’s easiest in Hernand because the enemies there aren’t as strong. You can also make your bow more powerful by upgrading it or improving your Marksmanship skill.
Quickly collect enemies and shoot them with arrows to defeat them, because the timer resets after 60 seconds. With improvements, a single explosive arrow should be enough to eliminate them.
How to Get & Complete Bow Aimed at Fate II in Crimson Desert
- How to Get: Obtained from the Sealed Abyss Artifact found in the south region of the Deepfog Basin. Head north of the “A” in “Hernand” to the lake that’s southeast of the Calphade Outpost.
- Challenge: Defeat 7 enemies in a row using only normal arrows.
- Reward: x1 Abyss Artifact, x1 Faded Abyss Artifact
You’ll need regular arrows to finish this challenge. For an easy completion, battle enemies in Hernand. While Charged Shot and Evasive Shot can help, even basic Abyss Gears used with your bow will work well.
Use Abyss Gears with your bow to significantly boost your critical hit rate and attack power, allowing you to deal more damage and quickly defeat enemies. Stick to using a bow to achieve a streak of defeating seven enemies consecutively.
How to Get & Complete Bow Aimed at Fate III in Crimson Desert
- How to Get: Obtained from the Sealed Abyss Artifact found at the Beighen Candlery, just a short walk southeast of the actual building itself when facing the river, far east from the “P” in “Pailune”.
- Challenge: Hit 3 enemies in mid-air with a bow.
- Reward: x1 Abyss Artifact, x1 Insight I
During this challenge, touching the ground will reset your progress, so make sure to hit every enemy while they’re in the air. Also, hitting multiple enemies with a single explosive arrow won’t count – you need to hit three different enemies with three separate arrows.
To reach high places, first do a double jump. Then, quickly press the Force Palm button (R3) three times to get maximum height, and press Square or X to spread your wings. Once your wings are out, hold L2 to slow down time, aim carefully using the aiming help feature, and take down enemies one by one. For the best results, try this technique from the top of a building.
How to Get & Complete Bow Aimed at Fate IV in Crimson Desert
- How to Get: Obtained from the Sealed Abyss Artifact found in the Valley of Grief, west of the Well of Reflection, and south of the final “R” in “Forebearer’s Barrens” in the Crimson Desert.
- Challenge: Take down 3 birds from over 15 meters away with a bow.
- Reward: x1 Abyss Artifact, x1 Faded Abyss Artifact, x1 Aptitude I
Birds will always be quite far away, flying high above you. Using Focused Shot will help you hit them, as you’ll need to carefully aim and fire.
Vultures are easy to locate in the Crimson Desert – just look for them circling overhead. If you’re having trouble spotting any, go to Hernand and shoot some trees to scare them up. Then, activate Focused Shot to slow down time and get a clear shot as they fly away.
How to Get & Complete Bow Aimed at Fate V in Crimson Desert
- How to Get: Obtained from the Sealed Abyss Artifact found in the Kingshield Mountains of Demeniss, far north of the “D” in “Demeniss” and southeast of Beighen.
- Challenge: Defeat 5 enemies at once from over 20 meters away with a bow.
- Reward: x1 Abyss Artifact, x1 Greater Infinite Arrows
Using Explosive Arrows will greatly simplify this challenge, because you only get one attempt. It’s tricky though – enemies need to be at least 20 meters away, so mark them on your map and create some distance before firing.
Delesyia is full of flying robot wasps that travel in large groups. A single explosive shot can take out a whole swarm, which is what you need to do to complete the challenge. Keep an eye out for areas in Delesyia that need to be freed!
How to Get & Complete Bow Aimed at Fate VI in Crimson Desert
- How to Get: Obtained from the Sealed Abyss Artifact found in the Sequoia Forest, east of the “P” in “Pailune” along the river near the Ridgepath Post.
- Challenge: Hit 5 enemies using Focused Shot.
- Reward: x1 Abyss Artifact, x1 Faded Abyss Artifact, x1 Compuser I
This Bow Challenge is likely the simplest one. All you have to do is learn the Focused Shot skill and use it on five separate enemies. You don’t need to do it all at once or worry about a timer – just hit five different enemies with the skill.
Just use Focused Shot whenever you have a chance and hit 5 different enemies with it. There’s no time limit, so you can do it at your own pace.
