Crimson Desert Reveals What’s Coming in the Next Update

Pearl Abyss, the developer of Crimson Desert, announced they are still working on features highlighted in their April 10th update, including new difficulty levels and control options. The team reassured players that the next patch is coming soon, with a planned release in late April.

Pearl Abyss’ stock is up, and their new game, Crimson Desert, is a hit! It sold over five million copies around the world in just one month. The developers are still working hard to improve the game and fix any issues players have reported.

Crimson Desert’s Next Update Is A Big One

Hey everyone, just wanted to share some good news about Crimson Desert! Pearl Abyss recently gave us an update on all the changes they’re making, and things are looking really promising. They’re still on track to release a new update at the end of April, and it’s going to include a bunch of stuff we’ve been asking for! I’m especially excited about the new inventory tabs – seriously needed! They’re also adding difficulty settings – Easy, Normal, and Hard – which is awesome for tailoring the experience. They’re still working on even more combat stuff, too. Plus, they’re letting us customize our controls even more, with options for controllers as well as keyboard and mouse. They said the update should drop within a week of their progress report, so keep an eye out!

Players can likely expect the next update for Crimson Desert to arrive between April 19th and 25th. The previous update, version 1.03, fixed problems with the Greymane camp and dialogue. It also surprisingly added support for Intel Arc graphics cards and Intel XeSS 3.0 upscaling – a change made after many players requested it. Pearl Abyss had initially said they wouldn’t add this support, but they listened to feedback. The 1.03 update also continued to improve the game’s visuals, including water reflections and indoor lighting.

Crimson Desert Will Continue Making Improvements Per Player Feedback

The late April update for Crimson Desert will enhance the quality of distant scenery. Pearl Abyss has warned players that this update will be a larger download than previous ones. While the exact file size hasn’t been announced, it’s worth noting that Crimson Desert has experienced performance issues on PS5 and Xbox consoles, so the impact of these visual improvements on all platforms is still unknown.
