Luma Island: Where To Find All Forest Shrine Offering Crystals

As an experienced adventurer who has traversed the mystical lands of Luma Island countless times, I must say that this guide is nothing short of a treasure trove for those seeking the elusive Offering Crystals. From the hidden nooks and crannies to the treacherous rivers and perilous cliffs, the journey to collect these crystals is as thrilling as it is challenging.

As a dedicated fan of Luma Island, I’ve discovered that each unique ecosystem hides a mysterious sanctuary, which can only be accessed once I’ve gathered the specific crystals. The number of crystals required varies with the biome, with some requiring as many as 11 to unlock the rewards within.

Gathering these crystals might take a bit of patience, but it’s definitely worth the wait since the shrine houses a Luma Egg and other exceptional prizes that are hard to resist. The Forest shrine necessitates eight Crystals for opening, and here’s where you can locate them all.

Forest Offering Crystal 1 Location

In Luma Island, the initial Forest Offering Crystal is situated not far from the forest’s entrance. Upon entering, continue on the path until you encounter a tiny stone bridge. Look below this bridge, and you’ll spot the Crystal, though for now, there’s no way to get to it.

To reach the Mushroom Man’s store, first cross the bridge, then veer right by the pond. Keep going until you spot his shop. Instead of continuing on the main path leading to him, search for a narrow passage that allows you to bypass the cliff. Once you find it, follow this pathway, and at the end, you’ll discover the Crystal.

Forest Offering Crystal 2 Location

Starting from the Mushroom Man’s store, proceed along the trail as it ventures further into the forest until you come across a river flowing through it. To locate the second Crystal, keep an eye out for a small opening amongst the rocks near a cave that you can walk through to the north.

The location of the hole is concealed among several shrubs and foliage, making it somewhat challenging to locate. However, upon discovery, you will uncover the Offering Crystal nestled within the cliff’s surface.

Forest Offering Crystal 3 Location

To reach the third Offering Crystal, follow this route: If you’re venturing into the Forest for the first time, finding the crystal won’t be easy as pie. From the spot where you found the second Crystal, look for a nearby cave hidden in the forest. It’s safe to traverse without torches, but it does get a bit dark at times, so carrying a torch might help. Upon exiting the cave, you’ll find yourself across the river.

Follow the trail around the pond, moving southward until you spot a ‘color riddle’ concealed among some trees on your right. Proceed along the path where this color riddle is located for a brief distance, keeping close to the eastern wall of trees. Once you can veer east (which will be to your left if you’re facing the color riddle), do so, and you should encounter an Offering Crystal situated on a small hill ‘near a damaged ladder’. You’ll require 3 Forest Wood and 5 Reeds to mend the ladder, at which point you can access the Crystal.

Forest Offering Crystal 4 Location

Proceed southward from the location where you discovered the previous Offering Crystal, and continue until you spot a blue crystal perched atop a pillar beyond a tiny hill. To find the upcoming Offering Crystal, you’ll have to circumnavigate this hill in a southerly direction. Initially, you might encounter some trees that require chopping down for easier passage.

After crossing over the hill, search for a narrow trail that passes under an archway with a blue gemstone and leads you around the other side of the hill you’ve just traversed. By following this route, you will eventually arrive at the Offering Crystal, perched atop its own hill near a waterfall.

Forest Offering Crystal 5 Location

Heading back on my familiar trail, I’m on the hunt for the next Crystal hidden in this region where the last pair were discovered. To locate the fourth one, retrace your steps along the path and veer slightly off around the hill you initially climbed. Instead of returning completely, take an eastward turn and guide yourself through the forest until you stumble upon a small, secluded campsite, perfect for a well-deserved rest.

As you make your way through the camp and keep going along the trail encircling the ruins, you’ll discover the Offering Crystal tucked away at the foot of the cliff, hidden behind those very ruins.

Forest Offering Crystal 6 Location

To locate the next Crystal, you should retrace your steps back to the fast travel spot in the Forest. From there, proceed north while keeping the eastern wall on your left side. After some distance, you’ll encounter a few rocks that you need to mine. The Offering Crystal is hidden behind these rocks and is found underneath a small arch.

The secret place where the second Crystal was found is quite alike; thus, it may not be visible by merely strolling about.

If you can’t locate it, try searching near the vicinity where the mud river begins its flow. You might find the hidden entrance covered with rocks there.

Forest Offering Crystal 7 Location

To locate the Crystal, make your way to the Forest’s fast travel spot and head north along the path. As you traverse this route, you’ll come across an Ancient Temple; keep going past it. Continue on the path until you encounter another camp, which should be visible from a small pond nearby – however, there seems to be no apparent way to access the Crystal nestled next to that pond from there.

To reach the Crystal, walk along the pond’s perimeter to its opposite side, then make your way towards the cliff edge. Once you arrive there, turn sharply to your left and follow the winding pathway that skirts the cliff. This route will guide you in a loop and straight to the Offering Crystal location.

Forest Offering Crystal 8 Location

The final Crystal Offering lies further into the Woodland, requiring you to navigate a muddy stream that runs close to the quick travel spot. Ensure you safely cross by locating and utilizing the scattered rocks and logs within the water before they submerge you.

After crossing over, move past the pedestals where you’ll eventually place the Offering Crystals. Take the right turn at the fork, avoiding the Mushrooms and Plants that may attack as you proceed. Keep going until you spot a blue crystal perched atop a pillar. Next, search for a cluster of trees located centrally in this region.

If you know where to find the Ancient Temple here, the trees are right behind it.

It’s now time for you to start clearing the way, as the elusive Crystal is concealed among the foliage. Fell as many trees as necessary, and you’ll soon spot the radiant glow of the Crystal, ready for collection. Once you’ve gathered all the Crystals, you’ll be able to unlock the sanctum in the woods, earning another Luma Egg, plus a variety of other rewards that are hard to come by on Luma Island.
