Every gun in the game boasts a wide array of attachment choices, and the cherry on top is the Calibration feature that lets me meticulously adjust my weapons’ performance to suit my playstyle.

In the game Delta Force, you don’t strictly need calibration to make entry-level guns effective, but it’s available for those who desire to fine-tune their weapons to an optimal level. Let me briefly explain what this function is about and how to utilize it.

What is Weapon Calibration in Delta Force?

Adjusting weapon settings allows players to modify the characteristics of their firearms based on the attributes of their selected attachments. This can involve altering aspects such as the barrel’s length and diameter, the stock’s length, the placement of the grip, etc. These seemingly minor adjustments can have significant impacts on various stats, making even small changes valuable in the long run.

How to Calibrate Weapons

To adjust your gun’s settings, navigate to the main menu’s Weapons Customization screen, and choose any weapon that you’ve unlocked. After that, click on the ‘Calibrate’ tab located at the top of the screen. This action will open the Calibration interface, allowing you to experiment with your gun’s attachments.

Adjust any attachment according to your preference, and fine-tune the settings on multiple attachments if you can. To maximize the effectiveness of weapon calibration, we suggest adjusting attachments to boost a single stat. For instance, if you aim to make the SCAR-H in Delta Force as stable and precise as possible, focus on enhancing the Firing Stability with your attachments.

You’re free to adjust as many attachments as you like, just make sure not to excessively load your weapon, as it could result in detrimental statistical penalties.

What Stats Should You Calibrate?

Typically, weapon calibration adjusts stats that enhance your guns’ performance in either long-distance or close combat scenarios. For instance, attributes such as Stability while Aiming and Firing help maintain precision during shooting, whereas ADS (Aim Down Sights) Movement Speed and ADS Speed provide an edge in tight spaces. Enhancing one stat often means sacrificing another.

For most weapons, you can’t go wrong with bumping up the Extra Control stat. It dampens the kick of your gunshots ever so slightly, making it easier to hit multiple bullets in a spray or burst. You can tune this stat on Foregrip, Rear Grip, and Stock attachments. However, this will make your ADS Movement Speed and ADS Speed stats slightly lower. This is especially good for slow-firing weapons like the Delta Force’s AKS-74 since they’re already built for mid-range fights.
