Logan Paul Gave His Daughter a Super Expensive Pokemon Card for Christmas

Magikarp, often called the Fish Pokemon, was first introduced in the original Pokemon Red and Blue games. While it starts as a weak Water-type, Magikarp famously evolves into the much more powerful Gyarados, completely changing its look. With the release of Pokemon Gold and Silver, a special, golden-scaled version of Magikarp called Shiny Magikarp was added, quickly becoming a favorite among fans who have created artwork and other projects inspired by it. Shiny Magikarp made its trading card game debut in the Pokemon TCG’s Neo Revelations set as Shining Magikarp, a basic Pokemon with 30 HP. Released in English in September 2001, Neo Revelations was the third set based on Pokemon Gold and Silver, and Shining Magikarp, along with Shining Gyarados, were the rarest cards in the expansion.
