As a seasoned player of gacha games with countless hours under my belt, I must say that Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade has been quite the rollercoaster ride! While it can be frustrating at times due to the scarcity of Cubes, the game has its fair share of charm and excitement.
In the game Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade, similar to other gacha games, you’ll find that it uses its own unique currency, known as Cubes or Kaiju, for pulling on banners and obtaining new characters. Unlike many other free-to-play (F2P) games, however, you can only pull ten times on any F2P banner when you amass 3,000 Cubes. The challenge is that Phantom Parade isn’t overly generous with Cubes and has limited most farming methods. This leaves players questioning whether it’s feasible to farm Cubes at all. If not, what are the best ways to optimize Cube earnings? We’ve put together a guide to address these questions.
Can You Farm Cubes in Phantom Parade?
Regrettably, in the game Phantom Parade, players can’t accumulate Cubes through farming. Since it’s a gacha-style game, it promotes using real-world transactions for purchasing Cube packages. Nonetheless, there are free-to-play strategies to gather additional gacha money. Keep in mind that these methods have limitations, so you shouldn’t anticipate earning substantial amounts.
What Are the Best Methods for Getting More Cubes?
You can acquire Cubes primarily through two methods: Story Events and Campaign missions. Story Events are time-limited activities comprising several missions available in Normal and Hard difficulty levels. Finishing these missions will net you a substantial amount of Cubes, and you may even exchange items in the event’s shop to receive additional Cube rewards. The Campaign awards 50 Cubes per episode, enabling you to accumulate approximately 5,000 Cubes as these episodes are connected to other objectives that also grant Cubes.
Here’s every method for earning Cubes in Phantom Parade.
Story Events
During these temporary special events, you’ll work your way through approximately 8 to 10 additional storylines. Each completed segment will grant you between 30 and 50 Cubes. Furthermore, you’ll collect themed currencies such as Exorcist Medals. These medals can be used in the event marketplace for a chance to receive even more Cubes.
Campaign
In each campaign level you complete without fail, you’ll receive 50 Cube rewards. Additionally, some campaign episodes are connected to additional missions in the Missions tab, allowing you to potentially gain extra Cube bonuses. These can reach up to a maximum of 150 Cubes for specific episodes.
Novice Missions
Newcomers in Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade can accomplish fundamental tasks to gain additional Cubes as rewards. For instance, a Mission for Novices offers 1,000 Cubes for altering your Aid character. To finish this task, navigate to your Profile, modify the “Aid Information” section, and replace the default hero with one of your alternate characters.
Finishing all the Novice Missions grants you a guaranteed Super Rare Summon (SSR) Gacha Ticket. This special ticket allows you to draw one hero from your desired list, thereby reducing your need for Cubes.
Hero Rank Up
Boosting your character levels will earn you Cubes, albeit in modest quantities. Yet, given that leveling up is crucial for progress and there’s a multitude of characters in the game, you can leverage this function to amass extra Cubes gradually.
Resource Exchange
In the “Trade” section, specifically under the “Recollections” tab, you’re able to swap your surplus or unnecessary Recollection Points for Gacha Tickets. These tickets might look different from Cubes, but they serve a similar purpose: both can be used on gacha banners, making them somewhat interchangeable in function.
Consider trading your Recollection Bits for Gacha Tickets only when your team has reached its maximum upgrade level, and you find no more use for the excess Recollection Bits.
Promo Code
From time to time, the game Phantom Parade dishes out promotional codes that give you Cubes for free. Although the prizes aren’t typically large, they’re still valuable because there’s no need to spend long hours grinding to get them.
How Should You Exploit Cubes in Phantom Parade?
Instead of immediately using your Cubes on featured banners in Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade, it’s a wise move to save them and collect your gacha currencies first. An effective approach is to re-roll early in the game and aim for at least two META SSR heroes such as Gojo or Yuta. Once you have these characters, refrain from pulling on any banners and keep your Cubes until new heroes are introduced. This way, you can make an informed decision about whether or not to pull when the time is right.
On my free-to-play game account, I successfully drew Yuta during the re-roll phase and subsequently redeemed my assured Super Rare (SSR) ticket for Gojo. Having these two characters has significantly facilitated my advancement through the storyline, allowing me to accumulate every Cube I earn without spending them prematurely.
What Should You Do With Exclusive Gacha Points?
If you choose to play the gacha banners, remember to utilize your Exclusive Gacha Points to bring in more characters. Every time you spend Cubes, you’ll automatically gather Gacha Points that can be traded for SSR units. Just navigate to the Exchange menu, then select the Gacha Points tab. Remember that the featured heroes often change, so consider saving your Points until a hero you desire becomes available.
