Elaborating on this move in a statement to The Verge, Dbrand CEO Adam Ijaz said that the newly shared product design wasn’t based on guesswork but the precise dimensions of the next Nintendo console, which the Canadian company obtained through a “3D scan of the real hardware.” Asked about what those proportions are, Ijaz said the Switch 2 will be 270 x 116 x 14mm in size with the Joy-Cons attached.

Switch 2 Will Reportedly Be Much Larger Than Nintendo’s Last Console

The executive confirmed that even without its detachable controllers, the new console will maintain a width of 200mm, making it 24mm longer than the Switch OLED Model.
