Shard Clash Game Mode In FragPunk
In this conventional game setting, you’ll find yourself controlling a team of five Lancers. This game involves two sides: an offensive team and a defensive team. The goal for the attacking team is to set up the Converter and safeguard it until the timer expires. Meanwhile, the duty of the defending team is to disarm the Converter.
The contest is structured as a series of up to seven rounds, centered around specific locations. In the opening of every round, both teams can insert Shard Points to open Shard Cards. If after seven rounds, the score remains tied, the game will transition into a one-on-one battle mode.
There are three variations of this game mode that you can play:

| Standard | Casual game mode where the normal rules apply. |
| Advanced Standard | Casual game mode where Advanced rules apply. Each team must elect a Card Captain who makes decisions about the team’s Shard Cards. The game has a rule-making phase where each team’s Card Captains will take turns banning and picking cards. |
| Ranked | This is the ranked matchmaking system in FragPunk. The Ranked Shard Clash is played as a best of 11. Players under Diamond rank will play the Standard Shard Clash rules, while players above Diamond rank will follow the rules of the Advanced Shard Clash. In ranked matches, both teams will draw Shard Cards from the same pool. It’s not affected by player progression. |
Both Advanced Standard and Ranked Shard Clash will unlock at level 30.
Arcade Game Modes In FragPunk
Hey there! If you’re not feeling like battling it out in Shard Clash mode on FragPunk, don’t worry! There are plenty of other Arcade games just waiting for you to try. To give them a spin, hop into the game, select Play, and then veer towards the Arcade section. That’s where all the fun is hidden!
In the arcade area of FragPunk, there are five rotating and permanent games available for play. Every 72 hours, the Battle and Arcade Rotations games will switch out, but the remaining three games are permanently installed.
To view the schedule for all the upcoming games in both Battle and Arcade modes, simply right-click on the Game Mode option.

| Battle Rotation | It features modes such as Team Deathmatch (Random /Standard), Glunite Grab, & Free For All in specific maps. |
| Arcade Rotation | It features modes such as Mirror Clash, Sniper Deathmatch, Capture the Core, Chaos Clash, One Shot, etc. |
| Outbreak | A unique game mode where players go up against Infected Parasites. One hit from the Parasite, and you also transform into one of them, hunting down other survivors. The Infected side wins by transforming all Survivors, and the Survivors win by running out the timer. The skills of the Lancers are enhanced in this game mode. |
| Duel Master | Duel Master is a 1v1 game mode where players take turns going up against one another. The player that gets defeated loses a life. When a player loses all of their lives, they are eliminated. The last man standing wins the game. Make sure you’ve set up your sensitivity perfectly to gain an edge over your opponents. |
| Scrimmage | This is the standard Deathmatch where you go up against other players in a complete free-for-all setup. There are no rules, no timers, and no shard cards. Just you, your hero, and your weapons against the rest. You respawn instantly after dying. Killing an enemy hero drops health pickups that restore your health. There are no penalties for leaving the match. |
