As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the upcoming Double XP event in Black Ops 6 is like a sweet treat on Christmas Eve. However, it seems Treyarch has been doling out these treats a bit too frequently, making me wonder if they’ve mistaken me for a candy-craving toddler instead of an adult gamer!
Starting tomorrow, December 24th, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is scheduled for a double experience points (XP) boost. Although Treyarch or any other Activision studio hasn’t officially announced it yet, a Double XP event listing has been spotted on the game’s menu, hinting at its imminent start. This follows a series of similar events that have been ongoing since the game launched in October.
Some could argue that Treyarch has put on too many Double XP events, reducing the efficacy of the ‘special period’ that allows players to get more out of their grind. Others have argued that the Double XP events are ‘fixed’ and that they don’t offer the full boost of experience points you’d expect.
More XP Incoming
Tomorrow, December 24th, it appears that the Double XP event for Black Ops 6 will kick off. This information is indicated in the menu, but it’s important to note that Activision has not officially confirmed it yet.
In recent times, there’s been a noticeable decline in Black Ops 6’s performance, distancing itself from its previous claims of being the ‘standout Call of Duty game in years’. The primary reason for this is that the game has become overrun with cheaters. Admittedly, the developers of Call of Duty acknowledged they fell short when it came to implementing their anti-cheat measures effectively, leaving many skeptical about the game’s integrity at present.
In summary, several professional gamers and live-streamers are switching their focus from Black Ops 6 to other games. Notably, Nadeshot has ceased streaming Black Ops 6 and moved on to Marvel Rivals instead.
Regarding Black Ops 6, there’s an upcoming Double XP event starting tomorrow, December 24th. This is perfect timing as many new players, often referred to as ‘Christmas noobs’, are expected to join the community. Thanks to Skill-Based Matchmaking (SBMM), which is indeed a feature in Black Ops 6, you’ll only encounter these newcomers if your skills aren’t quite up to par with the game.
