In the world of new technologies, a material named Hexolite is essential for many innovations. To produce this Hexolite, you’ll require Ores along with two recently added resources: Hexolite Quartz and Chromite. Best Ways To Get Chromite In Palworld

On Feybreak Island, Hexolite Quartz is abundant, but locating Chromite requires some effort. You can find Chromite by either using the ‘Dig, Dog! Dig!’ partner skill from Smokie or a Metal Detector. The Metal Detector becomes accessible at Technology level 56, while Smokie, a fox-like companion, resides in the northern part of Feybreak Island. To leverage their skills, construct a Metal Detector or capture a Smokie and put on its harness to activate its partner skill.

As a fervent admirer, once you’ve got Smokie’s Harness or crafted a Metal Detector, make your way to Feybreak Island for an exciting hunt! Chromite, the resource you seek, can be found nestled within the depths of Alpha Pal caves and dungeons scattered all over the island.

Chromite Farming In Caves On Feybreak Island

On Feybreak Island, there are several caves populated by Alpha Pals and Bounty adversaries. After overpowering an Alpha Pal within a cave, you have the option to employ the Metal Detector or a skill belonging to Smokie’s partner to reveal up to four Chromite deposits. For those making their first visit to Feybreak Island, the closest caves can be found at these coordinates:

  • -1037, -1197
  • -969, -977
  • -733,-1029

Chromite Farming In Dungeons

On Feybreak Island, dungeons not only house hidden Chromite deposits, but unlike caves, these deposits in the dungeons are scattered rather than concentrated around the Alpha Pal boss. To collect all the Chromite, you’ll need to thoroughly explore each dungeon. Here are coordinates for dungeons near the northern coast of Feybreak Island where you can find Chromite:

  • -848, -957
  • -1000, -1030
  • -764, -1195
  • -1100,-824

How To Mine Chromite In Palworld

As a passionate film enthusiast of virtual mining, once I stumble upon a Chromite node, I’d grab my trusty pickaxe or mining Pal, be it Digtoise or Rushoar – they’re both great at excavating ore nodes. Each node typically rewards around 25 pieces of precious Chromite.

Other Ways to Obtain Chromite

Extracting Chromite can sometimes be monotonous, particularly with the use of tools or manual labor. Fortunately, there are other effective approaches available for your convenience.

Defeating Silvegis

In a cave located at coordinates -987, -1029, very close to the Shield Dragon Tunnel fast travel point, you’ll encounter Silvegis, a four-foot dragon-like Alpha Pal. Upon defeating him, Silvegis will drop 2-3 Chromite. You can also find and hatch Silvegis from massive Dragon Eggs on Feybreak Island. Raising Silvegis enables you to gather eggs and mine Chromite by slaughtering the offspring pallings. While this method may not be the kindest, it’s a reliable way to collect Chromite.

Pal Expeditions

The new expeditions added with the Feybreak update yield Chromite as a prize. Ask your friends to visit these spots instead.

  • Dark Cave of Feybreak
  • Brothers of the Eternal Pyre’s Black Market

Journeys to Feybreak typically last around an hour, providing between 30 and 50 units of Chromite, as well as other prized items such as Ultimate Spheres, Exotic Spheres, and Giant Pal Souls. If you haven’t yet reached Feybreak Island, alternative routes include trading at Brothers of the Eternal Pyre’s Black Market, which offers 15 to 30 Chromite.
