As a seasoned gamer with over three decades of experience under my belt, I must admit that I was skeptical when Pocketpair announced the Palworld x Terraria collaboration. However, after diving into this charming open-world adventure and unlocking the Meowmere weapon in the Feybreak Update, I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised!
The Meowmere is a delightful addition to my arsenal, with its adorable cat-shaped hilt and powerful capabilities that rank among the strongest close-combat weapons. The process of unlocking this crossover weapon was straightforward enough, requiring me to reach level 30, spend two Ancient Technology points, and defeat a few Alpha Pals or Tower Bosses for the necessary materials.
Crafting the Meowmere was a bit more challenging but rewarding, as I had to gather Ingots, Coal, and Predator Cores from various sources throughout the Palpagos Archipelago. The journey took me to different biomes, where I battled fierce enemies and explored hidden corners of this vibrant world. I even stumbled upon a few coordinates for rare Predator Pals that proved to be quite elusive at times!
Once I had all the materials, crafting the Meowmere was a breeze at my High-Quality Workbench. The weapon’s impressive attack and durability make it an invaluable asset in my quest to conquer this fantastical world. And let me tell you, nothing beats watching those bouncing cat projectiles take down a giant Pal!
Now, if only the Meowmere could be used to tackle real-life chores like laundry or dishes – now that would be a true game-changer! But until then, I’ll keep swinging my Meowmere in the virtual world of Palworld and enjoying every moment of it.
In a partnership between Palworld and Terraria, the Meowmere became the initial weapon incorporated into Palworld. Back in November 2024, Pocketpair officially announced the collaboration called “Palworld x Terraria,” and now, players can enjoy this exciting crossover with the introduction of the Meowmere weapon in the Feybreak Update.
Fans of Terraria may have come across the Meowmere weapon before; in Palworld, it maintains a comparable impact as one of the most potent close-combat weapons you can construct. This adorable feline-themed melee weapon unleashes a barrage of cat-shaped projectiles against enemies when used at range. To fully utilize this guide, learn how to unlock the Meowmere sword, collect the necessary materials for crafting it, and maximize its distinctive abilities in Palworld.
How To Unlock Meowmere In Palworld
To get access to the Meowmere, you should progress in Palworld up to level 30 first. After achieving this level, navigate to the Technology section and look for the level 30 tier. The Meowmere is located under the Ancient Technology category on the right side of the tab. You’ll need to spend a total of two points from your Ancient Technology reserves to activate it.
If you’re almost at level 30, venture into various regions and collect around 10 unique Pal companions to speed up your XP gain. To maximize Ancient Technology points, focus on defeating Alpha Pals and Tower Bosses. Additionally, discovering Ancient Technology Manuals hidden within dungeon treasure chests can provide extra points as well.
How To Craft Meowmere In Palworld
To craft the Meowmere, you will need the following materials:
- 22 Ingots
- 22 Paldium Fragments
- 22 Coal
- 3 Predator Cores
You get ingots by processing ores, particularly Copper Ore. Once you reach level 24, you’ll have the ability to set up an Ore Mining Site which allows you to collect an endless supply of ores using Mining Buddies. Paldium Fragments can be obtained by mining small Paldium Ore deposits found throughout the Palpagos Archipelago and larger ones in dungeons, or alternatively, you can use a Crusher in an active quarry to transform stones into Paldium Fragments.
Coal is extracted from Coal Ore, a resource that’s often discovered in Dessert areas, Bamboo Forests, Moonlit Coastlines, and Green Brooks. Once you reach level 41, constructing a Coal Mine becomes possible for efficient coal farming.
Ultimately, you’ll come across uncommon allies known as Predator Pals scattered across the Palpagos Archipelago. These formidable opponents, referred to as mini-bosses, can be quite tough, so it’s wise to gear up before taking them on. The number of Predator Cores you receive upon defeating each enemy depends on the level of the Predator Pal, with one to four cores being possible rewards.
In the game Palworld, here are some locations for “Predator Pals” close to the breeding islands: 9, -221; -24, -348; -63, -298; -325, -33; and 362, -177. These “Predator Pals” may not always be present, but they do have a small chance of appearing. If you don’t find one at these coordinates, try another route and come back after a minute; it might have appeared in the meantime.
After you’ve collected all necessary items, proceed to a robust workstation or improved manufacturing facility to assemble the Meowmere. This hybrid weapon boasts an impressive attack power of 200 and a sturdy durability of 2222, making it durable for extended use.
