As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket has unveiled an exciting array of premium perks to welcome 2025! Subscribing to the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket’s Premium Pass service promises a fantastic experience, with this month’s rewards focusing on the fiery duo – Moltres and Charizard, two iconic Fire-type Pokemon.
Despite debuting in the early 1990s as part of the Pokemon franchise, Moltres and Charizard continue to rank among the top Fire-type Pokemon available. The upcoming premium content release is set to make these iconic Fire-type characters shine even brighter in DeNA’s mobile card battler for an exciting month ahead.
According to the latest updates announced on the app’s news feed, enthusiasts of First Generation Fire-type Pokemon in the game Pokemon TCG Pocket now have additional ways to engage with these characters. A significant addition is the new Moltres ex promo card, which will be awarded to players who subscribe to the Premium Pass for Pokemon TCG Pocket. Upon logging in for the first time this year, these subscribers will receive this card. The functionality of this promotional card is identical to the existing Moltres EX card from the Genetic Apex series, offering 140 HP, a one-energy Inferno Dance ability that allows players to add up to three Fire energy cards per round to any of their Pokemon, and a three-energy Heat Blast move that inflicts 70 base damage. However, this promo card showcases fresh artwork, depicting Moltres as it breaks free from its frame with an open beak, emitting a fierce battle cry.
