As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming experience under my belt, I must say that this Squid Game Event in Black Ops 6 and Warzone has been one of the most exciting collaborations we’ve seen in recent times! The partnership between Call of Duty and Netflix is a masterstroke, and it’s clear that the developers have put in a lot of effort to make this event as immersive as possible.
The Event Pass system is familiar territory for me, having dabbled in Battle Passes before. I appreciate the two tracks – free and premium – which cater to both casual and dedicated players alike. The XP milestones are a great way to encourage players to keep grinding, and the rewards on offer are pretty enticing, from operator skins and weapon blueprints to emotes and calling cards.
I must admit, I’m tempted to splurge on the premium track for that High Authority XM4 Tracer Blueprint alone! But then again, I’ve learned over the years that patience is a virtue in gaming, and I might just be able to unlock it through regular play.
One thing that’s bugging me though, is that joke about the Cleaver entering the Armory for those who haven’t unlocked it. I mean, seriously, they’re not going to start handing out real cleavers now, are they? That would make for an interesting twist in the game, but I’d rather keep my limbs intact, thank you very much!
All jokes aside, this Squid Game Event is a must-play for any Call of Duty fan. The developers have truly outdone themselves with this one, and I can’t wait to see what they come up with next!

This special event includes an Event Pass that offers exclusive rewards.
How Does The Squid Game Event Pass Work?
In the Squid Game event, the Event Pass serves as a smaller version of a Battle Pass and is accessible to all participants at the beginning of the Squid Game event. This pass comes with two distinct tracks: a free track and a premium one, each providing ten different rewards. To move forward in the Squid Game Event Pass and claim its rewards, players need to hit XP milestones by earning experience points (XP) in either Black Ops 6 or Warzone. A total of 356,000 XP is needed to unlock all the rewards.
Players on the free track can access all the rewards, but those on the premium track need to obtain the Squid Game Event Pass, which costs 1,100 COD Points or around $9.99. Both tracks will progress concurrently starting from January 3. This means players can earn enough XP first and then purchase the Squid Game Event Pass later if they prefer, to receive its exclusive rewards.
