This article contains spoilers from My Hero Academia’s Epilogue.
Summary
- Momo Yaoyorozu ranks 19th, showcasing her resourcefulness.
- Tokoyami surprises fans by ranking 17th despite his strength.
- Bakugo ranks 15th due to his attitude, not his strength.
As I bear witness, the epic tale of “My Hero Academia” has drawn to a close, with volume 42 gracefully offering a 38-page postscript to the narrative. This concluding chapter was nothing short of captivating, enriching the already impactful climax with a host of thrilling additions.
One intriguing aspect from chapter 431 of My Hero Academia was the unveiling of the hero rankings for Class 1A. At last, fans can see where their preferred characters place on the hero chart, and it’s clear that there are several unexpected twists.
7. Momo Yaoyorozu
Hero Rank: 19
In the anime “My Hero Academia,” Momo is renowned for her resourcefulness. As an adult, she has ascended to the 19th position on the hero rankings. Although she may not be the strongest, Momo possesses exceptional creativity and her Quirk’s potential is virtually boundless.
Based on her creative abilities, Momo has the potential to produce truly astonishing feats in battle. Although fans haven’t witnessed her maximum power post-timeskip, due to her ranking within the top 20, fans harbor significant anticipation for her capabilities.
6. Tokoyami
Hero Rank: 17
In the anime “My Hero Academia”, Tokoyami stands among the most powerful characters. Interestingly, he ranks 17th on the hero chart, a position that took many viewers by surprise, as many had anticipated him being in the Top 10 or even higher.
In the Final War Saga, his ominous power known as Dark Shadow was colossal, and fans witnessed it clashing directly with All For One. However, it’s unexpected that Tokoyami, despite this immense power, is ranked comparatively low by the author.
5. Bakugo
Hero Rank: 15
Moving forward with unexpected placements, the powerful character known as Dynamight, or Bakugo, has landed at the 15th spot on the Hero rankings list. Despite his immense strength, making him one of the top Heroes, it’s worth noting that he currently holds the title as one of the strongest.
Observing closely, I find myself in awe of Bakugo, the 15th-ranked Hero. His meteoric rise to the top four on the hero rankings initially suggests a promising career. However, it’s his distinctive personality that has led to a gradual slide down the ranks. The rough edges and brash attitude he exudes have undoubtedly taken their toll over time. Yet, despite this, Bakugo remains steadfast at position 15, seemingly unfazed by the rankings.
4. Tenya Iida
Hero Rank: 13
Tanya Iida, commonly recognized as Ingenium, stands out as a potent hero with a significant responsibility mindset. Unlike some, she adheres strictly to the rules and prioritizes the well-being of others over her own. Moreover, she is an exceptional combatant known for her extraordinary speed during battles.
It’s fair to conclude that Iida possesses immense power, even if he doesn’t usually take center stage. When it comes to confronting danger, he has the abilities required for success. His powerful boosters allow him to outrun most other characters, which is what sets him apart. What makes him unique is reflected in his 13th rank on the hero ranking charts.
3. Kirishima
Hero Rank: 12
Kirishima, famously recognized as the Red Riot, possesses immense strength as a Hero. He’s renowned for his unyielding resolve and courage during conflicts. With his Hardening abilities, he stands a formidable chance against almost any adversary at present.
Kirishima currently holds the 12th position, but with his evident talent, there’s a strong possibility of him climbing up the ranks. As stated by Kirishima himself, his lower standing is mainly due to him not venturing out alone earlier. Now, having made the choice to go solo, spectators can anticipate seeing him move up in the rankings quite soon.
2. Shoji
Hero Rank: 9
Shoji has achieved significant success, a fact recognized by his fans who rank him among the elite top 10 in the Hero standings. At this moment, he holds the ninth position, which is quite noteworthy. A large part of this achievement can be attributed to his decision to go solo at an early stage.
Shoji stands out, even though others in My Hero Academia may be more notable. Yet, it’s hard to ignore that he’s often underestimated, making him one of the unsung heroes. The writer definitely did a great job showcasing his role in this manner.
1. Shoto Todoroki
Hero Rank: 2
In summary, apart from Shoto Todoroki, no one else from Class 1A ranks among the top 10. Known as the “Air Conditioning Hero,” Shoto has reached his potential and there’s room for him to climb even higher. Currently, Shoto stands at number two, similar to how Endeavor, his father, once held that position.
Shoto possesses an extraordinary fighting prowess akin to Half Cold Half Hot, making it difficult for opponents to thwart him during combat. It has been rumored that Shoto tirelessly labors not only to vanquish villains but also to foster contentment among those in his vicinity. Shoto’s aura exudes tranquility and warmth, creating an inviting environment, which stands in stark contrast to Bakugo’s demeanor.
