More Xbox Game Pass titles for January confirmed

It appears that Microsoft has revealed additional games set to join Xbox Game Pass in January, catering to diverse tastes.

Today marks the arrival of the game “Road 96,” available on Cloud, Console, and PC platforms. Previously, we described it as a game that delves into the hardships faced by teenagers in a nation governed by criminals and dictators. It masterfully combines the personal tales of survival and escape with an entertaining and user-friendly experience. Each playthrough offers a unique adventure, with the main eight characters each having their own storyline that becomes more detailed as you progress. While there may be occasional screen tearing, the visuals are overall stunning. If you’re looking for something a bit unconventional, Road 96 is an excellent pick. This game will once again be accessible through Game Pass in January, for those who might have played it before.

On the 8th of January, I’ll find myself with a new set of games to explore as they join “Game Pass Standard”. Here are the ones I’m excited about: Lightyear Frontier, My Time at Sandrock, Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders, and Rolling Hills. Starting from that day, these games will be available for me to dive into!


 

On January 14th, I’m pumped to jump into EA Sports UFC 5 on Game Pass Ultimate! Back in 2023, they promised an evolution of the franchise, and let me tell you, it delivers. The new submission system is a game-changer, making it easier to transition holds using the analog sticks, just like shifting positions in a real fight.

The KO replays are awesome, and the improved blood and injuries system adds a whole new level of realism. Now, instead of going the distance, you’ll find yourself adjusting your strategy mid-match for a quicker win. The career mode might feel familiar, but the sheer thrill of the fights themselves is still off the charts! There’s not much more in terms of modes beyond online career, but hey, who needs extra features when the core gameplay is this good? Bring on UFC 5!

That same day, Diablo hits PC via Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
