Following Nvidia’s keynote at the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), it was announced that 75 games would be compatible with DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation, a technology exclusive to the RTX 50 series of graphics cards. This innovative Nvidia technology will be incorporated into games such as “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle”, “Cyberpunk 2077”, and “Marvel Rivals” once the RTX 50 GPUs become available for purchase.
Under the codename Blackwell, the next series of Nvidia GPUs is set to debut in January, expanding on the capabilities of the existing Ada Lovelace lineup, particularly by improving Nvidia’s Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) tech. One of the key features that distinguishes this new generation is Multi-Frame Generation, a technology that boosts frames per second (FPS) in compatible games at a quicker pace than the current Frame Generation tech. The top-tier GPU from the Blackwell lineup is the RTX 5090, which comes with 32GB of GDDR7 video memory and an initial MSRP of $1,999. The RTX 5080, 5070 Ti, and 5070 will carry price tags of $999, $749, and $549 respectively.
Nvidia has disclosed that a total of 75 games and applications will immediately support DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation when the RTX 50 GPUs become accessible for consumers, according to their announcement. To illustrate this, they used the example of Cyberpunk 2077: with DLSS and Multi-Frame Generation disabled while full ray tracing was enabled, the game ran at less than 30 FPS on the RTX 5090. However, when activated, the frame rate for Cyberpunk 2077 soared to an impressive 236 FPS on their top-tier Blackwell GPU.

Regarding the specific launch date of the RTX 50 graphics cards, Nvidia hasn’t provided a concrete January release at this point. However, it’s worth noting that not all advancements in DLSS 4 will be exclusive to the RTX 50 series. Instead, enhancements such as Frame Generation, Ray Reconstruction, and Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing (DLAA) will also be available for older models like the RTX 40 series.
