In the exciting world of Pokemon Go, two legendary beasts from Pokemon Black and White are set to join the action! Keep an eye out for Black Kyurem and White Kyurem, who will feature prominently in the upcoming Pokemon Go Tour: Unova event.

Supporters have long been eager for Pokémon hybridizations, dating back to the first generation. It wasn’t until the Gen 5 games that this became a reality; specifically, Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 enabled Reshiram and Zekrom to combine with Kyurem, resulting in the powerful forms known as White Kyurem and Black Kyurem.

Originally, only Kyurem, Reshiram, and Zekrom were included in Pokemon Go. However, their fusion forms aren’t available yet. This is going to be different soon, as the official Pokemon Go website has announced that Black Kyurem and White Kyurem will debut at real-life Unova events in February, followed by a global release in March.

Black Kyurem & White Kyurem Will Descend Into Pokemon Go

Starting from February 21st to 23rd, 2025, two extraordinary fusion exhibits are set to debut simultaneously in New Taipei City, Taiwan and Los Angeles, USA. These events will require tickets for attendance and provide an opportunity for a live, in-person experience.

Globally, they’ll be accessible starting from March 1, 2025. It’s worth noting that these formidable creatures can only be confronted by the most skilled trainers. As a result, Black Kyurem and White Kyurem will make an appearance in 5-Star Raids.

To start, you must defeat both Black Kyurem and White Kyurem during Raid Battles. This action gives you a chance to catch the uncombined versions of them, as well as earning either Blaze Fusion Energy or Volt Fusion Energy as a reward.

1. In order to obtain Black Kyurem, trainers require a Kyurem, Zekrom, 1000 units of Electric Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Sweeties, and 30 Zekrom Sweeties.

2. To get White Kyurem, trainers need a Kyurem, Reshiram, 1000 Flame Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Sweeties, and 30 Reshiram Sweeties.

When combined, these two legendary Pokémon stay merged until the player decides to separate them at no cost. During this fusion, they can’t be given to the Professor or moved to Pokémon Home.

Given their immense individual power, when these three titans from Unova combine, they’ll become significantly more formidable. Gathering the necessary Fusion Energy for such a union won’t be an easy feat, but the payoff at the end will certainly make it worthwhile.
