New Content Coming to Marvel Rivals
With the arrival of a fresh season comes fresh material! The exciting addition to Marvel Rivals includes two new characters: Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman. Moreover, a brand-new map, Empire at Eternal Night: Midtown, is also joining the game.
For those looking to have fun in the arcade, a new mode and map are also being released there.
The new Battle Pass features new skins, mission types, and more.

Get ready for an exciting round of the Doom Match, set in the Sanctum Sanctorum! In this game, anywhere from 8 to 12 players will clash, and those ranking among the top 50% will emerge as the winners.
Feature update: In Convoy and Convergence game modes, there’s an option for all players to move to the subsequent respawn point a short while after the attacking team finishes its current objective.
Improved aspect: While a Quick Match is initializing, you now have the ability to see the Nameplates of both teams during the process.

Presenting the Celestial League, a higher echelon that surpasses Grandmaster and falls short of Eternity, split into three segments.
After the conclusion of Season 0, your rank will be lowered by seven divisions in the next season. So, if you finished in Platinum I during Season 0, you’ll start Season 1 from Silver II.
Tournaments
As a dedicated follower: “I’m thrilled about the new automatic follow function for tournament registration! Now, when I register as a team member, I can choose to follow my captain. This means that if they initiate or cancel the sign-up process, I’ll automatically confirm without any further action needed. Just remember, this feature is effective only for the current season.
Update on the internal reporting system: If you suspect any faction has violated rules during the same tournament within the last 90 days, please submit a report for our review.
This way of phrasing makes it clear that the function pertains to factions, the timeframe is specific (within the past 90 days), and the location where the misconduct took place is limited to the same tournament.
– New spectating channel: Chat in real-time with fellow rivals while spectating the same match.
While watching, the keybindings and crosshair configurations of the main player will be clearly visible.
– New setting option: Block all active invitations and faction join requests.

As a streamer, I’ve got some exciting news! In the Settings, under the Social category, there are now options that allow me to adjust my visibility. There’s a new setting that lets me hide my username when streaming, giving me more control over my online identity (please note this is local; other players in the same match will still see my name). This is a great addition for those who want to maintain privacy while enjoying the game!

To wrap things up, the Season 1 patch for Marvel Rivals brings numerous improvements and tweaks across all devices. Previously reported glitches related to characters, levels, and technical difficulties have been squashed.
General
– Resolved numerous issues related to notifications.
– Rectified various text errors.
Maps and Modes
As a gamer, I’ve tackled numerous glitches that made characters get stuck or move to odd places on the map. Rest assured, these snags are under constant surveillance and will be resolved promptly. To make gameplay smoother, we’ve introduced a new “unstick” feature! If your character is trapped in the terrain for a certain period, you can now easily guide it back to its starting point.
– Fixed various issues including floating broken objects, collision errors, etc.
– Fixed various map sound problems.
– Resolved an extremely rare issue where overtime couldn’t be triggered or wouldn’t end.
– Also resolved an exceptionally rare abnormal draw occurrence issue.
Heroes
I made adjustments to minor differences in movement for specific characters, such as Doctor Strange and Magik, ensuring smooth performance at both low and high game speeds.
– Addressed occasional malfunctions with, or inability to use Wolverine’s team-up ability.
– Fixed occasional incorrect resets of Winter Soldier’s ultimate ability.
Resolved a problem that caused Winter Soldier’s ultimate skill to occasionally miss enemies within its reach.
In some instances, Iron Man’s final power seemed to bypass Hela when she activated hers. (Or) During their ultimate abilities clash, there were moments where it appeared that Iron Man’s ultimate power went right through Hela’s.
I fixed the occasional sync problems that arose when Venom and Spider-Man were web-swinging or scaling walls.
Or, in a more conversational tone:
I sorted out those occasional hiccups with synchronization between Venom and Spider-Man during their acrobatic wall-crawling and swinging escapades.
Corrected an issue where Rocket Raccoon, perched on Groot’s shoulders, was occasionally setting Battle Rebirth Beacons (B.R.B.) in unusual positions within the game map, resulting in teammates getting trapped upon respawning.
Adjusted minor camera inconsistencies that occurred when Loki assumed specific forms during his final power.

As an avid Marvel’s Avengers player, I recently tackled an intriguing problem: a visibility glitch that occasionally surfaced when Adam Warlock, Mantis, and Star-Lord were in soul form amidst the misty Wakanda maps. During these instances, they became invisible to both themselves and other players. Now, it’s all good!

2.2 Console
In the console matchmaking process, there was a problem that caused teammates on Xbox to appear muted to players on other platforms. To correct this issue, it was necessary for users to manually unmute their teammates in order to hide the mute status. This issue has now been fixed.
In certain situations, the auxiliary sight intensity and crosshair sensitivity didn’t automatically adapt as expected when the view field was altered for specific characters.
– Resolved an issue where certain button settings were not taking effect as intended.
– The global focus switching algorithm has been optimized for smoother overall operation.
