I’m absolutely thrilled! “Orb: On the Movement of the Earth” is gearing up for its second season on Saturday, 11th of 2025! The initial season spanned an exciting 15 episodes, and this time around we’ve got another 10 lined up, making it a grand total of 25 episodes. And guess what? Two fresh faces are joining the cast for the anime adaptation! Can’t wait to see them in action!

I’ll be observing that Miyuri Shimabukuro and Satoshi Hino are set to join the ensemble for the forthcoming season. Interestingly, the primary voice actors from the anime will be returning to reenact their original characters.

Orb – Earth’s Motion originates from a manga series penned by Uoto. It initially appeared in Weekly Big Comic Spirits starting September 2020 and concluded its run in April 2022. This manga has been recognized with several nominations, some of which it has taken home as an award. While the exact number of copies sold remains undisclosed, it’s likely that it surpassed the 1 million mark.

The animated adaptation of the “Orb: On the Movement of the Earth” manga was announced back in June 2022. After a long wait of more than a year, the anime finally premiered in October 2024. For its opening theme, Sakanaction provided the song Kaiju, and Yorushika took care of the ending. Now, for the second part of the series, Yorushika has also produced a new ending titled Hebi.
