It’s been suggested that the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 might see an increase in available games, with rumors circulating from a reliable source NateTheHate, claiming that popular Xbox exclusives like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and Halo: The Master Chief Collection could potentially be ported to the Nintendo Switch 2.
The games are also reported to be coming to PlayStation 5 as well.
According to NateTheHate, some games set for release in 2025 on multiple platforms also include Flight Simulator, which will be available on PlayStation 5 and the upcoming Switch 2, and Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which is planned for both PS5 and the Switch 2 as well.
As an ardent fan, I can’t help but feel excited when I think about the two games that have been creating a buzz for the upcoming Nintendo console. However, it seems those aren’t the only gems we’ll be getting. In response to a social media post discussing games for the system, Windows Central Executive Editor Jez Corden hinted at a much larger number, stating it would be “way more than that”. He further added that these games will likely include many older titles and some timed exclusives. I can hardly contain my anticipation!
Additional information about which other classic games might join the platform was not shared. However, NateTheHate hinted that Final Fantasy 7 Remake and its sequel Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, both exclusive to PlayStation 5, will be available on this system as well. The Remake is expected in 2025, followed by the Rebirth in 2026, with both games eventually releasing on Xbox as well.
