In January 2025, Dr. Stone will be back for its highly anticipated final season. This anime made its debut on January 9, 2025, and it received an overwhelming number of favorable reviews. Fans were also treated to the fresh tunes of the new opening and closing songs in the latest episode.
As an avid music lover, I can’t help but be thrilled about the opening theme for this new series! It’s none other than “CASANOVA POSSE,” beautifully sung by ALI. This band has made quite a name for themselves with past hits like “Lost in Paradise” (Jujutsu Kaisen) and “Wild Side” (Beastars). On the flip side, the ending theme for the first cour of the final season is “BREIMEN’s Rolling Stone.” This is their very first anime song, and I can only imagine how it might propel their popularity to new heights!
Dr. Stone Science Future Cast & Staff
In the upcoming Dr. Stone series, Science Future will be split into three parts, or “cours.” Although many fans want the anime to air every week until it ends, it’s important to understand that the studio needs to maintain high animation quality without overworking the team. Creating even a single episode requires significant effort, and the staff responsible for each episode must ensure they don’t sacrifice quality. The breaks between cours allow them time to rest and deliver their best work possible.
Excitedly speaking, the specific launch dates for the next two episodes are still under wraps, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed for some tantalizing news post the conclusion of this initial run!
Dr. Stone’s main cast remained the same and only had minor additions.
- Yusuke Kobayashi as Senku Ishigami
- Kengo Kawanishi as Gen Asagiri
- Ryota Suzuki as Ryusui Nanami
- Gen Sato as Chrome
- Kensho Ono as Ukyo Saionji
