Riot Games is gearing up to modify significantly the “Feats of Strength” system recently introduced to League of Legends as part of the Season 15 overhaul. Known for introducing substantial alterations to its games during new competitive seasons, Riot frequently tweaks game balance and aims to keep the gaming experience exciting. Typically, early season updates bring about major modifications to items and mechanics, such as the introduction of the Atakhan boss monster in Season 15. Now, one significant change for the upcoming season is set to undergo some refinements.

In addition to various other modifications for League of Legends during Season 15 related to Noxus, Riot Games introduced a new mechanic called “Feats of Strength.” This mechanic challenges teams to complete two out of three specific goals before their opponents, allowing the victor to construct Tier 3 boots. The initial version of this mechanism requires teams to secure First Blood, capture the first turret, and slay the first three Epic jungle camps to claim the buff. However, one particular task is scheduled to be removed in a future update to the system.

According to Dexerto, League of Legends’ Lead Gameplay Designer Matt “Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison has shed light on the planned modifications for Feats of Strength. Phroxzon mentioned that Riot Games intends to eliminate First Blood as a requirement for Feats of Strength, but he didn’t specify what the replacement objective will be. He also hinted that this update won’t be deployed until either patch 15.2 or 15.3. Additionally, Phroxzon discussed several minor adjustments made via a hotfix following the commencement of the new season.
