Reports claim that John Boyega, Damson Idris, and David Oyelowo have all been offered the part but have declined, citing reluctance to become part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in this capacity, according to sources close to these actors.

Actors John Boyega and Idris Elba could plausibly play an older version of Black Panther (Prince T’Challa) within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, given their youthful appearances.
