Marvel Rivals players are using Invisible Woman to spot bots in their matches.
In a recent share by RivalsAssembled (via barky1616), TheGamer noticed an intriguing video showcasing a player utilizing Susan Storm’s unique abilities in X, specifically her ability to become invisible as the Invisible Woman. Marvel Rivals players have discovered that exploiting this power can effectively throw off bots and halt their progress.
In the video, a Marvel Rivals player strategically places Invisible Woman close to a staircase, causing the robotic opponents to become puzzled. These bots have been programmed to travel along a specific path to reach their destination, and Invisible Woman’s power creates an invisible obstacle in their route. While a human player might suspect something is amiss, the bots remain stationary until Invisible Woman’s ability expires, as they are unable to react beyond following their predefined program.
The enemy team featured the Hulk, Adam Warlock, Iron Man, Winter Soldier, Peni Parker, and Mantis. Four out of these six players momentarily halted when Invisible Woman intercepted them. However, only Peni Parker and Iron Man managed to advance further. Once their special ability expired, all four of the stopped characters turned against Invisible Woman, launching an attack on her.
It’s common practice to use bots in game lobbies to reduce wait times for quick matches, and it appears that Marvel Rivals has been adopting this strategy as well. But, if players can successfully block their paths completely, these bots won’t last long before they are eliminated from the lobbies.
