  • He can switch between setting Dream Snares and putting out Dream Pallets mid-match.
  • Both Snares and Pallets now affect non-sleeping survivors, primarily by adding time to their sleep timer. Dream Pallets can even explode in a grisly shower of blood, affecting all survivors who get splattered.
  • Freddy can now teleport to any generator, even those which have been repaired or blocked.
  • Freddy can detect and teleport to healing survivors in his Dreamworld.
  • Survivors within 8 meters of Freddy’s teleport are revealed to him and have time added to their sleep timer.
  • The cooldown of Freddy’s teleport has been reduced to 30 seconds.

These alterations make Freddy Krueger a formidable foe capable of trapping victims more effortlessly within the dream realm, where he can relentlessly chase and hunt them down. Although awake survivors can still regain consciousness, various factors reducing their sleep duration imply that sleep becomes a far more regular and perilous predicament. In the dream state, the survivors find themselves in Freddy’s control with his heightened teleportation and perception skills at play. Furthermore, the reduced time it takes for him to teleport increases his mobility and adaptability, making it considerably harder for victims to break free from his grasp.

In this new update for “Dead by Daylight”, Freddy Krueger returns alongside a fresh character trial system. This feature enables players to test out paid DLC characters at no cost, temporarily.
