Niantic has revealed that Shroodle and its evolution Grafaiai are set to make their first appearance in “Pokemon GO” during the upcoming event called Fashion Week: Taken Over. This event is scheduled to begin on January 15, and along with these two creatures joining the game, the developers have also shared details about the rewards and raids that “Pokemon GO” players can anticipate during this period.

Shroodle is among the new pocket monsters debuted during the launch of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. This unique creature belongs to the Poison/Normal type and is characterized by its oversized head and eyes that make up nearly half its body size. Upon reaching level 28, Shroodle will evolve into Grafaiai – a small primate-like Pokemon bearing resemblance to a lemur, marked by its large eyes and three differently sized fingers on its hands. The duo has also made cameos in certain episodes of Pokemon Horizons.

Alongside Shroodle and Grafaiai, Pokemon GO will be partaking in the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Commencing at 12 am on January 15 and concluding at 8 pm local time on January 19, during this event Shroodle will materialize for players who hatch 12 km eggs, which can then be evolved into Grafaiai using 50 Shroodle Candy. Team GO Rocket members will appear more frequently in balloons and PokeStops, allowing players to help them discard the Charged Attack Frustration by employing a Charged Technical Machine (TM). Additionally, trainers capturing a snapshot have the opportunity to encounter Croagunk adorned with a fashion week attire.

A special research titled “Save Shadow Palkia” is being introduced, offering the opportunity to rescue this shadowy Pokemon. During this event, six new shadow Pokemons will appear, including the Unova starters. In these Shadow Raids, you’ll encounter seven creatures, among them Nidoran female and male. For the first time, Remote Raid Passes can be utilized in these battles. New Field Research tasks will become available, granting trainers Mysterious Components, Charged and Fast Technical Machines (TMs).

Additionally, themed on Fashion Week: Taken Over, there will be Showcases and Collection Challenges to participate in. The Web Store is set to offer new deals, while the in-game shop will have a 300-coin bundle that includes an Incubator, a Rocket Radar, and a Premium Battle Pass.

Over the coming days, there’s plenty of exciting activities lined up for players of the augmented reality game. Starting from January 21, the Corviknight evolutionary line will make its debut in Pokemon GO. Additionally, a Shadow Raid Day is scheduled for the upcoming days. The classic Community Day is also confirmed, offering players an opportunity to catch Ralts on January 25.
