What is Cosmos’ Premise?
Ryuhei Tamura’s latest work, ‘Cosmos,’ has been serialized since 2023 in the monthly magazine Sunday Gene-X. To date, five volumes have been published. As of now, it hasn’t been released in the US, but VIZ Media has obtained the licensing rights, and we can expect the first volume to hit stores this year.
I find myself immersed in a tale that unfolds within the cosmic realm of COSMOS, a unique insurance firm catering to extraterrestrial entities. This narrative traces the life of Kaede Mizumori, a typical high school student, who crosses paths with the enigmatic Rin Homura one fateful day.
Since the manga is currently at its fifth installment, there’s a possibility that it could receive a nomination for the prestigious Taisho Manga Award, which is highly respected within Japan’s manga community.
Apart from his renowned work “Beelzubeb“, Tamura is also recognized for penning other series such as “Hard-Boiled Cop and Dolphin“, “Hungry Marie“, and “Pyramid no Himitsu“. Please note that these titles are distinct from “Miss Beelzebub“.
Cosmos is licensed in the US by VIZ Media, and the first volume should be released this year.
