Nintendo and Sea Life UK are teaming up to introduce the Animal Crossing: New Horizons universe to multiple locations throughout the United Kingdom. Since its debut in March 2020, this game has brought delight to over 46 million individuals worldwide, especially during a period when escape became increasingly vital.
At Sea Life centers, visitors will have an engaging opportunity to connect with awe-inspiring marine creatures and some prominent game figures. The tour kicks off on February 8 in Manchester, with additional stops in Birmingham, Brighton, London, and Chessington World of Adventures Resort. It’s important to note that Sea Life is the world’s second largest leisure group, and those who have visited can attest to its enchantment, given it’s part of the biggest aquarium network on the globe.
At our themed zones like Atlantic, Arctic, Rainforest, and Tropics, there’s a wealth of species to discover. It’s truly exciting to imagine a partnership between Sea Life and Animal Crossing! Indeed, we are delighted to bring this unique experience to several SEA LIFE locations. As Catherine Prichard, General Manager at Sea Life London, stated, ‘Our visitors will embark on an extraordinary journey alongside characters from Animal Crossing, all while surrounded by the myriad of incredible creatures in our attractions – from Green Sea Turtles to Zebra Sharks. This immersive, entertaining, and one-of-a-kind adventure promises a memorable experience for families or friends.’
Visitors will follow a tour guide and encounter characters like Tom Nook, Aurora, and Octavian in the “Sea Life Islands.” Here, they’ll explore various sea creatures, participate in activities such as fossil digging, and search for Gulliver, the lost seagull. Additionally, guests can gather character stamps, gain knowledge about Sea Life’s inhabitants, and engage with characters from Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
