Established in 2018, Stray Kite Studios is a game development company based in Dallas, Texas. As of 2025, it employs around 30 people. Notably, some of its team members have previously worked on popular games such as BioShock, Borderlands, and Age of Empires. So far, Stray Kite Studios has released Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure, a standalone version of the game, and numerous Creative maps for Fortnite.

The company has recently revealed its debut original game titled “Wartorn“. Known as a blend of real-time strategy and roguelike aspects, “Wartorn” follows the tale of two elven siblings on their arduous quest to rejoin their family. This odyssey will be fraught with challenges ranging from tough battles to ethically ambiguous choices.
