Aware of her experiments potentially emitting harmful fumes, Maomao wanted to spare Gyokuyou any potential complications during pregnancy.

As the story unfolds, a shipment of books filled with methods for pleasing the Emperor arrives. Upon arriving at the clinic, Jinshi encounters Maomao and gains insight into her professional activities. Yet, he allows her to continue working undisturbed. Simultaneously, Gaoshun is tasked with removing any inappropriate content from these books.

A few days following the books’ delivery, a captivating tale began circulating among the palace residents, sparking widespread intrigue. In light of this realization, she approached Ailan and advocated for her to duplicate the novel so that the servants could also enjoy it. This move could significantly boost the literacy rate in the palace.
