Unveiling the Shocking Truth Behind One Piece’s Holy Knights!

This article contains spoilers from One Piece’s Elbaf Arc.

Summary

  • The Holy Knights were introduced in One Piece to give the Celestial Dragons a capable army.
  • The Holy Knights are incredibly powerful, ranking above the Marines and even able to pass judgment on other Celestial Dragons.
  • With the abolition of the Shichibukai system, the Holy Knights have emerged as a new and exciting group of formidable enemies in One Piece.

The climactic finale of One Piece has sent fans into a frenzy, and the narrative tension is palpable. As key characters start to act, viewers eagerly anticipate epic conflicts in this part of the series. In addition to familiar heavyweights, Eiichiro Oda has introduced new ones, with the Holy Knights, or God’s Knights as they are also known, being the most significant among them.

This group possesses such remarkable power that readers eagerly anticipate seeing more of them within the narrative. Notably, their strength is extraordinarily impressive. Yet, much about them remains shrouded in mystery, leaving fans intrigued as to their true purpose in One Piece. As the story progresses, it seems that their role is gradually becoming clearer.

The Need For Strong Celestial Dragons

  • One Piece Didn’t Have Powerful Celestial Dragons
  • The Five Elders And Imu Were An Exception.

In the captivating universe of One Piece, I’ve always been fascinated by the celestial dragons. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that these celestial beings were once the rulers of our world. As we journey through the Grand Line, Oda subtly emphasizes their royal lineage as the descendants of the original World’s creators. It’s evident that they hold themselves in high esteem, far above the majority of the people in the One Piece world. Perched atop the Red Line in the sacred land of Marijoa, these celestial dragons view themselves as a class apart, considering themselves superior to those living below. They go so far as to reject even sharing the same air with us common folk.

It’s not unexpected that they possess such power due to their high status. Yet, most Celestial Dragons are typically seen as both unintelligent and weak. It was challenging for fans to envision them seizing control of the world. However, in the Final Saga, viewers have finally caught a glimpse of their formidable members. For instance, the Five Elders were shown to be incredibly powerful in this part of the narrative. Through the Elders, Imu was confirmed to be extremely powerful too. Nevertheless, their numbers weren’t sufficient to warrant the extent of control they wielded over the world. This is where the Holy Knights come into play.

Eiichiro Oda has made up his mind about the concluding panel and the ending of the story. In the grand finale, he intends to delve not only into the Straw Hats’ journey but also global events. The challenge lies in determining exactly when this final saga should commence. (1999)

In the world of One Piece, Oda created the Holy Knights as a formidable military force to serve the Celestial Dragons. These Holy Knights possess immense power and high rank, even surpassing the Marines. Such is their power that they can even judge other Celestial Dragons, making them the most cautiously feared among the celestial beings.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but echo the words of Dragon, the Supreme Commander of the Revolutionary Army. He’s already declared war against the World Government, but he made it clear that his real fight will ignite when the Holy Knights are called to action. Until then, Dragon’s conflict seems almost insignificant. This fact serves not only as a testament to the might of the Holy Knights but also stokes the anticipation in us fans for what’s brewing ahead in One Piece!

A Filler For The Seven Warlords Of The Sea

With The Shichibukai No More, A New Exciting Group Has Shown Up

Previously, the Seven Sea Lords were a formidable presence in the world of One Piece, serving as a deterrent to pirates on the open seas. On numerous instances, Luffy engaged and defeated them, thereby earning a stellar reputation. Notably, the Shichibukai no longer exist now.

The World Government dismantled the old system, leading to the creation of new adversaries. Although Eiichiro Oda might have continued focusing on the Yonko, it’s also crucial to shed light on the World Government, given the story is approaching its final act and the Celestial Dragons require their own combatants to match up with the Straw Hat Pirates and other global threats. However, this choice could potentially prolong One Piece, similar to how the Shichibukai arc extended the series.

The reason “One Piece” has lasted for 20 years is due to the inclusion of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. Originally, the story was planned to be over after five years, focusing on battling the Four Emperors (the Yonko). However, I found it intriguing to have these Seven Warlords in the series, and it sparked an idea that grew into this lengthy saga! It’s almost like a horror movie plot twist – why not Five or Two Warlords? The name “Seven Warlords” just seemed so much more captivating!! I don’t have any regrets now, as I’ve drawn everything I had envisioned. Just a little bit more to go! – Oda

The Government’s Answer To The Revolutionary Army Forces

The World Government Need Someone To Fight Dragon

In the world of One Piece, the World Government is very powerful, but they wouldn’t be able to face off against the Revolutionary Army in battle without their Holy Knight forces. It was essential for Eiichiro Oda to create a formidable fighting force for the Celestial Dragons, which is why he introduced the Holy Knights. However, it’s important to note that the Holy Knights were not just an afterthought; they were likely part of Oda’s plan from the beginning. Given that Shanks’s Twin debuted about 6 years ago in the story, it’s reasonable to assume that Oda had always intended to bring the Holy Knights into play, possibly during the Final Saga.

Readers can expect to witness the full might of the powerful Holy Knights order soon, particularly in Elbaf, where two of its members have already established themselves. It won’t be long until we see their strength displayed, giving us a glimpse into just how formidable they actually are.
