Exciting News for WoW Players: Nostwin Vendor Brings Back Mists of Pandaria Remix Items!

Summary

  • WoW Patch 11.1 adds new vendor Nostwin, selling Mists of Pandaria Remix items for Timewarped Badges.
  • Not all Remix-exclusive items are available in Nostwin’s inventory, some rare toys and mounts are missing.
  • The expensive prices of old WoW Remix rewards make budgeting Timewarped Badges challenging.

In Patch 11.1 for World of Warcraft, a new merchant is being introduced who offers goods that were previously found in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria. Players can now trade Timewarped Badges with this World of Warcraft vendor to acquire unique items exclusive to the Remix version, such as Chen Stormstout’s Bamboo Hat and the Sha Corruption weapon illusion, in addition to a variety of cosmetic armor sets from Mists of Pandaria.

In the year 2024, a special, time-bound event called “WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria” was hosted within World of Warcraft. This event allowed players to swiftly traverse the old expansion, enjoying updated class balance and overpowered abilities and equipment. Players could amass Bronze during this event, which they could then trade for a mix of vintage and contemporary collectibles and transmogrifications. Additionally, participants were able to earn achievements, with each achievement unlocking unique rewards.

It appears that World of Warcraft is introducing a novel method to acquire certain items that are currently out of reach. A content creator for WoW, MrGM, has found Nostwin, an Infinite Dragon Non-Player Character (NPC), from the Remix event on the Timeless Isle in the Public Test Realm for Patch 11.1. This new vendor offers a plethora of items that were initially obtained during the event, such as the Muskpaw Calf and Astral Emperor’s Serpentling pets, the Cherry Blossom Trail toy, the Halfhill Farmer’s Backpack, along with select parts of certain tier sets and other transmogs from Mists of Pandaria.

WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria Vendor in Patch 11.1

In Nostwin’s stock, not all items from “WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria” can be found. Missing are certain achievement rewards, like the Astral Emperor’s Serpent and August Phoenix mounts, along with numerous rare toys and mounts from Pandaria that aren’t available during the event. Although many of the absent outfits and weapons can be found elsewhere in the game, other Remix-exclusive items, such as the unique colors of the World of Warcraft Trading Post’s class-specific armor and weapons, are also not presently in Nostwin’s stock.

It’s regrettable that a significant number of the rewards from the older version of World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria are quite costly. Although prices aren’t set for everything, ensembles can set you back by 4000 Timewarped Badges, while individual transmog pieces range between 700 and 800. Given that Timewarped Badge earnings have been decreased due to their transferability within Warbands, and with Blizzard recently introducing numerous new items to all Timewalking vendors, managing currency for these items won’t be straightforward, even during World of Warcraft’s ongoing Turbulent Timeways event.

It’s possible that the remixed version of “WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria” and its original rewards could come back at some point, considering there are indications that World of Warcraft might be working on a “Legion Remix”. Yet, given that we have 10 expansions so far, players may need to be patient for another “Mists of Pandaria Remix”, if it ever occurs.
