All Letter Locations

The second piece fits right next to the first puzzle piece straight away. Near the edge of the platform by the barrel you can jump into, you’ll spot an ‘O’ hovering in mid-air. After jumping in, wait for it to align with the letter, then shoot to grab it.

After passing the checkpoint, keep an eye out for a cluster of barrel cannons. Among these, there’s one with an item floating – specifically, the letter ‘N’. To collect this letter, aim to fire the barrel cannon at just the right moment so that upon landing in the next barrel, you’ll fly into it.

In the upcoming scene, look for a rolling drum under which you’ll find the final letter floating in the sky. Jump and fly towards the letter ‘G’, making sure to dodge the moving barrel at the same time.

All Puzzle Piece Locations

Once you’ve cleared the initial barrel cannon area and safely reached the other side, you’ll find a small patch of ground adorned with a beautiful flower. Break or pick this flower to obtain your first puzzle piece.

The second puzzle piece is cleverly concealed. Once you’ve found the letter ‘O’, you’ll find an opportunity to fire at one of the barrels straight ahead. This path might appear to be fatal, but it actually takes you through a line of barrels that will return you to the initial barrel and reward you with the second puzzle piece.

After solving the second puzzle piece, step onto the big platform that follows. Ahead, you’ll find a tiny, cracked platform. To progress, strike the ground beneath it until it breaks and causes you to drop into a barrel. This barrel will transport you to a mini-game similar to level 1-2. To collect this puzzle piece, gather all the bananas and coins before reaching the central barrel that results in plummeting downwards (potentially to your doom). Simultaneously, make sure to amass all the bananas within the given time frame.

Right after the location where you discovered the mini-game, you’ll find a blooming flower nearby. Break it open to reveal the fourth puzzle piece.

Just a tad past collecting the letter ‘N’, you’ll notice a line of bananas pointing towards the upcoming barrel cannon you need to enter. Climb upwards in that direction to locate a barrel, which upon being hit, will propel you towards the final puzzle piece.

Time Attack Tips

In Time Attack mode, the barrel cannons simplify the level completion, but mastering the timing with the barrels is crucial. Rushing or misjudging a barrel’s timing could cost precious seconds. Once you grasp the pattern, reaching the checkpoint with 30 to 40 seconds remaining becomes relatively easy. Consistently maintaining that pace without errors should at least secure you a gold medal, if not silver.
