Players who main Ashe in Overwatch 2 won’t have to wait much longer, as they can grab the coveted Mythic Lead Rose weapon skin for their hero starting from January 21. This top-tier weapon skin was earlier announced to debut during the ongoing 14th season of Overwatch 2, marking it as the fourth Mythic weapon skin introduced in the game thus far.

In Overwatch 2, players can now unveil a fresh category of cosmetic items called Mythic weapon skins, which have made their debut with Reinhardt’s Bound Demon skin in the game’s 11th season. Unlike Mythic hero skins that have been gradually added since Overwatch 2’s launch, these weapon skins are a distinct entity. These Mythic weapon skins come equipped with several unique features, including emitting sounds and visual effects when defeating an opponent, enabling special weapon animations, and even causing defeated enemies to burst in distinctive visual effects.

In about a week from now, we’re almost at the midpoint of Season 14 in Overwatch 2, and the developers have confirmed that players can acquire the Lead Rose Mythic weapon skin. This item will go live on January 21st, and much like previous Mythic-quality skins, it should be purchasable and upgradable using the same amount of Mythic Prism as before. Introduced recently in Overwatch 2, Mythic Prisms are the currency needed to buy any of the available Mythic or weapon skins. Each weapon skin costs 50 prisms to unlock initially, while owned Mythic weapon skins can be upgraded up to level 4 by spending an additional 10 prisms per level. Each level upgrade adds more cosmetic effects to the skin.
