One of the greatest enigmas in the world of The Elder Scrolls revolves around the whereabouts of the Dwemer, an elf-like race that dwelled beneath the earth and were highly sophisticated technologically. Remarkably, their ancient machinery continues to function within the ruins of their abandoned cities, even thousands of years after their vanishing act. During the First Era, during Nerevar’s confrontation at Red Mountain with the Tribunal over the destiny of the Heart of Lorkhan, the entire Dwemer race inexplicably vanished from Tamriel. Introducing the Dwemer back into “The Elder Scrolls” universe would significantly enrich its storyline and offer numerous fresh storylines, particularly concerning political aspects.
