Action roguelike title Sworn comes to early access in February

Team17 Digital and game developers at Windwalk Studios have jointly revealed the upcoming early access launch date for their action-based roguelike game, Sworn. This exciting release is not too far off.

As an enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the game is a 1-4 player solo or cooperative action role-playing experience, set in a post-apocalyptic Camelot. In this world, the once honorable King Arthur and his Knights have succumbed to corruption, enabling darkness to engulf the realm. This captivating game will launch on Steam’s Early Access platform on February 6th. Can’t wait!

Starting soon, SWORN is launching a public trial where both old and new fans can try out the magic powers of the fae. During this test phase, you’ll encounter fresh ultimate abilities, face new challenges, discover brand-new paragon shrines, and enjoy a completely overhauled onboarding experience designed specifically for new players.

Here’s the key features from the press release:

  • Solo and Co-op: Play solo or unite with friends to stand off against the Knights of the Round Table. Combine the strengths of your characters in surprising ways and master abilities to become knights worthy of standing off against Arthur himself.
  • Explore a fallen Camelot: Meet familiar friends and foes such as such as Merlin and Nimue from Arthurian legend and discover the source of spreading darkness over Avalon, in this beautifully crafted comic world, inspired by the work of American artist Mike Mignola.
  • Power divine from the Fae: Swear fealty to the Fae Lords and choose from over 200 unique blessings to unleash your full potential.
  • Creatively conquer Camelot: Versatility thrives in the ever-changing battlegrounds of Camelot. Combine your blessings with unique character, weapon, and ability selections. Test thousands of unique builds as you become a seasoned knight.

The game “Sworn” starts its early access phase for PC on February 6th. Later, it will also be available on consoles when the full version (1.0) is released, though not immediately.
