Joining him will be none other than Ghostface from the Scream franchise and the iconic T-1000 from Terminator 2, who is yet to make his appearance.

Fans are now speculating on its significance after spotting a hint dropped by Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon several years ago. He mentioned wanting to introduce a pink-clad ninja named Floyd to the Mortal Kombat universe at some point. In 2023, thetiny allegedly found text in the source code of Mortal Kombat 1 that hints at Floyd, further fueling this new theory.
