In a manner reminiscent of Humankind, the recently released strategy game Civilization 7 offers a dynamic approach that lets you guide your civilization through different historical periods without being bound to a single faction or leader throughout. The game is structured into three distinct eras: Antiquity, Exploration, and Modern. As you progress, your tribe transforms from a humble beginning into a powerful force with access to advanced technologies such as nuclear missiles. Here’s an overview of the civilizations available in Civilization 7 on its launch day!
All Factions in Civilization 7 at Launch
In Civilization 7, you’ll advance through different epochs, growing your empire, strengthening your military forces, and transitioning your culture from one – like the Greeks or Normans – to another before ultimately reaching the modern era as, for example, the Prussians. This process provides numerous chances for players to tailor their gameplay and guarantees a high degree of replayability for extended periods!

Will We See Additional Civilizations in DLC?
It’s quite possible, indeed! Given the history of the Civilization series for providing extra content, it seems very likely that we might get DLC and expansions for Civilization VII. In the case of its predecessor, Civilization VI, players enjoyed a variety of leader packs, such as Portugal, Vietnam, Byzantium, Gaul, and the Maya, which were released after the game’s launch.
As a gaming enthusiast eagerly waiting for the launch of Civilization VII on February 11, I’m excited at the prospect that developers 2K and Firaxis Games are planning to deliver an abundance of fresh, engaging content. I can only imagine the satisfaction this will bring me and fellow gamers for years to come!
Make sure to review the system requirements for Civilization VII prior to its release date, so that you can verify whether your computer hardware meets the standards required for the 4X game.
