Battlestate Reviews Tarkov Feedback and Promises to Resolve ‘Key Challenges’

Lately, Battlestate Games’ team has launched a player survey for Escape from Tarkov, focusing on various aspects. Over the past few weeks, since the latest server wipe, players globally have been grappling with performance troubles, network glitches, bugs, and a significant influx of cheaters in the game.

In the near future, the BSG team plans to disclose findings and summaries of their latest survey on their online platform. At present, they’ve committed to addressing and tackling the main difficulties that everyone is encountering head-on.

Big Promises

On social media, Battlestate Games shared that they’re planning to roll out several technical improvements for Escape from Tarkov in the upcoming weeks. These updates aim to address various issues, including but not limited to:

1. Rectifying persistent technical glitches
2. Enhancing game performance and stability
3. Improving overall user experience

  • Issues causing FPS drops and stuttering in various locations
  • Issues that caused complete sound loss during raids
  • Instances where sound was not correctly played indoors
  • Fixes for issues when loading into a raid as a Scav
  • Issues where players couldn’t interact with the Lightkeeper due to incorrect spawn points for the Zryachiy and his guards
  • All causes of invisible bot spawns in raids
  • Visual adjustments aimed at correcting fog effects on various locations
  • Issues with item availability and in-game trader quests
  • Issues where players would receive empty crafts in the “Cultist Circle” module of the Hideout
  • Client freezing when posting an offer on the flea market for an item found via the “Linked Search” function
  • Adding a graphics settings parameter: “Disable frame limit in-game when Nvidia Reflex is turned off”
  • Incorrect functionality of the Cyclone “Shahin” 3.7x thermal scope.

Fans were quick to jump on the post and suggest further changes and quality-of-life improvements.

Among the proposals, there were ideas such as introducing fresh spawn points and loot paths across various maps, enhancing complexity within the Hideout, and expanding PvE elements that aren’t available when playing ‘single-player’ or ‘offline’.

Despite experiencing several ongoing problems, Escape from Tarkov remains the globally acclaimed king of extraction shooters. A common pattern persists – as players move on to explore different games at present, they’ll find themselves eagerly anticipating the next wipe, ready to return once again.
