- Figarlands may betray Imu to reshape world order
- Garling and son will play significant roles in shaping final saga.
The Grand Finale of “One Piece” has delved deep into the Elbaf storyline, leaving fans eager to discover where Oda steers the narrative next. As this Final Saga unfolds further, new characters emerge, amplifying the excitement and richness of an already captivating tale. Notably, some of the most thrilling characters introduced in the Final Saga thus far belong to the Figarland family.
Saint Garling Figarland was the original member of the Figarland family, and alongside him, there are two influential figures, one being none other than the Sea’s Yonko, Red-haired Shanks. Of course, fans are curious about how the Figarland family will impact the storyline in One Piece, and what part they will play in the climactic final act. It goes without saying that Oda has created a highly engaging role for this clan.
A Showcase Of The Strong Celestial Dragons
- One Piece Has A Dearth Of Powerful World Nobles
- The Figarlands Are Different From The Others
In the universe of One Piece, it’s rare for fans to witness strong members among the Celestial Dragons, the highest echelon. These characters are typically depicted as weak-minded and feeble, a trait that has been consistent in One Piece for quite some time. However, what’s intriguing is that only recently have we seen powerful Celestial Dragons in the series. Despite being portrayed as rulers of the world who supposedly defeated the Ancient Kingdom and Joy Boy, they lack strength. This paradox raises questions about Oda’s long-term plan for this character trait, leading to the introduction of strong Celestial Dragons.
I want to talk about a certain pirate. — Unknown Figarland family member
In the Final Saga, viewers have encountered many powerful and skilled Celestial Dragons, including the Five Elders, who displayed their abilities on Egghead. However, an even more intriguing family with immense strength was also introduced, a family that could potentially take on an even larger role in the future of One Piece. This family is none other than the Figarland family, initially mentioned in One Piece Film Red. Since then, they have risen to become one of the most influential powers in the world and have been closely connected with significant characters.
When you examine its members, it’s not surprising that Oda bestowed such a prominent position upon them. The head of the Figarland family is actually Saint Garling Figarland, the Divine Warrior of God Valley. He’s renowned for having two sons. One of these sons is believed to be leading the Holy Knights, while the other son is a well-known character that fans are familiar with by now. Remarkably, his power exceeds that of most individuals in the world, and this character is none other than Shanks.
A Possible Betrayal Of Imu
Garling and His Son Might Be Working From Behind The Scenes.
The Figarland clan is expected to play a pivotal role, if not dominantly powerful, in relation to the Celestial Dragons. This shouldn’t be unexpected for fans, considering Shanks, a known pirate, is linked to this family by blood. Although his bond with them may not go beyond shared genetics, it’s evident that being connected to Shanks suggests the Figarlands will play a key role in the climax of the story.
An intriguing speculation is that the Figarland family might eventually turn against Imu in pursuit of greater power. It’s crucial to recall that the Figarland family belongs to the Founding 20, and they have always been opposed to the Ancient Kingdom and Joy Boy. Their role is to stand against them.
Previously, I was appointed to serve as the Leadership figure in both Science and Defense. Here’s to working harmoniously together, esteemed Colleagues. – Garling Figarland
However, it’s questionable why they would specifically serve Imu, considering they weren’t among the original five who vowed allegiance to him. After all, Imu isn’t uniquely powerful. He is part of the Founding 20 family and made a pact never to occupy the Empty Throne. Imu hails from the Nerona family, much like Garling’s forebearer. They both fought against Joy Boy in battle. Over time, Imu gained immortality and an extremely dangerous power, which he can also grant to the Celestial Dragons, such as the Five Elders. In response, these Elders swore loyalty to Imu. Yet, Garling may not acknowledge this truth due to its hidden nature, given that it’s a dark secret for him.
It’s even more plausible that Garling might be modeled after Yuri Gagarin, known for his statement “I don’t see any God up here,” in space. This could imply that Garling may harbor intentions to betray Imu and seek power for himself, adding depth and intrigue to his character beyond being merely a puppet of Imu.
Reshaping The World Of One Piece
The Last Figarland Will Help Shape The World
As an observer, it seems indisputable that the Figarland family will significantly impact the imminent conflict. Whether Garling aligns with Imu or aspires to seize power, the Figarlands are undoubtedly determined to exert their maximum might. The son of Garling, heading the God’s Knights, is poised to unleash a formidable display of power, while his father wields not only the potent Mother Flame but also an exceptional ability of his own.
The Figarlands may very well earn a legendary status within the realm of One Piece, given their current circumstances. It’s almost certain that they will shape the world in profound ways—be it through Garling utilizing the Motherflame to submerge the land, his son employing his strength against Joy Boy’s allies, or Shanks risking everything on his power and Luffy’s to challenge the divine authority of the Gods, fostering a new world characterized by freedom and equality where people are spared suffering.
It’s worth noting that among the Figarlands, it appears that Shanks will emerge victorious and forge a new world order—even if it demands the ultimate sacrifice, something he has already demonstrated he is prepared to make for Luffy.
