Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is vast, offering players a sprawling open-world setting they can traverse freely. It’s jam-packed with hidden treasures just waiting to be found. From a colossal medieval city to dilapidated remains, idyllic villages to bandit hideouts, there’s always something new to unearth in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
Fans of the series know it’s a sizeable game, but how big is the map in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2?
Read on to find out.
Map(s)
In Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, the adventure begins as players delve into a location known as ‘Trosky’. Similar to its 2018 counterpart, this game offers an authentic replica of a historical area, with every town on the initial map being based on real-life locations.
Trosky is quite expansive, encompassing vast forest areas, a dominating central fortress, meandering rivers, and rolling hills dotted with smaller settlements such as villages, mills, and hamlets. The largest urban center on the map is Troskowitz, where you’ll find most of your trading activities concentrated.
In the game Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, Trosky appears quite substantial. I played for approximately 35 hours before I deemed myself prepared to advance, confident that I had accomplished as much as I could in the game up until then.
… And then I came back to the region later to find more objectives and locations to trawl through.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Map Size = Huge
In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the game truly expands when players reach the Kuttenberg region. Notably, this actual place is accurately depicted in KCD2, and each town you explore exists in real-life Czechia.
As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but express my awe for the vast expanse that is the Kuttenberg region, home to over a dozen charming towns and villages. At its core lies Kuttenberg, a city of grandeur that serves as the epicenter for some of the game’s most significant sequences and missions. Upon my first glimpse, I was left breathless by Kuttenberg – an impressive medieval metropolis with intricate alleyways, countless shops and taverns, and a multitude of people to engage with.
As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but share my excitement about the mysterious, default foggy map in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This enigmatic veil encourages me to venture forth, discovering hidden villages, landscapes, and secrets around every corner. The thrill lies in the fact that this exploration is endless – even after I’ve uncovered everything, there’s always more to find!
It seems like you’ll frequently encounter non-player characters who will share secrets about concealed locations or points of interest.
If you’re an adventurer at heart, you’ll be thrilled to know that the map for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 extends vastly, whether you prefer referring to it as a single expansive map or multiple interconnected ones.
