The gaming studio, Don’t Nod, has postponed the release of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Tape 2 by four weeks. This is the sequel to their latest project.
In addition, the team has disclosed the pricing (39,99€/$39.99/£35.89, with a 10% launch discount) for the game, which encompasses both parts – “Bloom” and “Rage”. Don’t Nod claims that playing through both provides an immersive experience totaling approximately 10-12 hours of gameplay. Upon its release, “Tape 2 (Rage)” will be available as a free downloadable update.
Initially planned for release on February 18, 2025, Tape 1 will go ahead as scheduled. However, developers at DON’T NOD have opted to delay the launch of Tape 2 (“Rage”) by a month, moving it to April 15, 2025. This decision was made to accommodate extra fine-tuning and allow the team more time to perfect the player experience and elevate the storytelling for an even more engrossing continuation of the journey.
During this interim period, supporters and enthusiasts can anticipate engaging and interactive activities on various social media platforms to keep them amused until the next installment of Tapes. These events will serve as a chance to delve further into the intriguing universe of Lost Records, connect with fellow fans, and share one-of-a-kind experiences related to the game.
Back in August 2024, we were given an early version of this game to play, and Chris White was really fond of it. He stated: “I appreciated all the nods to the mid-90s era, as well as the video camera feature, and that classic Life is Strange gameplay where you can explore points of interest and hear Swann’s thoughts, whether they are quirky or emotional. Bloom & Rage serves as a reminder of DON’T NOD’s exceptional skills. The story is intriguing, but it’s the characters and their connections that made me enjoy it the most.
Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is coming to PC and consoles starting on February 18th.
