In the upcoming updates for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone, the Feng 82 will be unlocked. It remains to be seen how well-received it will be, but initial details suggest that this weapon packs quite a punch, with its shots delivering devastating damage to anything in its line of fire.
Call of Duty offers a wide variety of weapons, catering to different playstyles. For instance, Season 2 introduced the PPSh-41, which wreaks havoc at close range due to its rapid-fire capabilities, while the Cypher 091 is versatile, proving itself in all situations. The Peng 82 contributes to the battlefield chaos and has been prominently featured in the Season 2 debut trailer.
Let’s take a closer look at the capabilities and necessary conditions for unlocking the Peng 82, as there are several factors involved.
How To Unlock Feng 82 for Warzone & Black Ops 6
The Peng 82 weapon can be obtained in multiple ways. It can be claimed early as a High-Value Target (HVT) reward on page 3 of the Season 2 Battle Pass, or it can be found as a blueprint on page 10 of the same document. Additionally, you can get it quickly by purchasing a Call of Duty (CoD) Shop bundle.
Three options, three different ways to acquire the Peng, and at least one is likely to suit you.
Regardless if your Battle Pass is free or paid, both versions allow progression. By playing Black Ops 6 and Warzone consistently, you’ll eventually reach Level 3 and accumulate enough XP to receive the HVT Tier reward – specifically, the Peng 82 weapon.
You have the option to delay receiving the gun by utilizing its exclusive Blueprint on Page 10. Alternatively, if you’re eager to get your hands on the Peng 82 right away, consider purchasing a bundle from the Call of Duty Shop. I’m not encouraging this action, but keep in mind that Season 2 introduces several expensive bundles. By spending real money, you can acquire the Peng 82 instantly without having to earn it first.

What Type of Gun is The Feng 82?
Light Machine Gun is the official weapon type of the Peng 82 in Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
In Season 2, Activision is almost completing its suite of weapon classes. We’ve got a fresh Assault Rifle, Submachine Gun, and Marksmanship Rifle, with the Peng 82 slotting well into the Light Machine Gun category.
The “Full-auto light machine gun” referred to here has a slow firing speed but deals significant damage and is easy to handle. By adding attachments to boost its fire rate, the Feng 82 can match or even surpass other Light Machine Guns in competition, and possibly outperform Assault Rifles when considering range.
2024 saw Black Ops 6 as the top-selling game, outperforming all others in that year. Interestingly, it also reigned supreme among games sold in December.
