One Piece Will Have 3 Chapters in a Row
Jan 19, Jan 26, and Feb 2 Mark 3 Chapters In A Row
For the avid followers of “One Piece”, it’s become clear that the manga has been taking longer breaks than usual. Yet, an exciting change is happening: For the first time in a while, there will be three consecutive chapters of “One Piece” released.
On January 19, 2025, the initial installment among the trio was made public, airing last Sunday. This particular episode showcased chapter 1136 of One Piece.
On the noteworthy Sunday, precisely January 26, 2025, I’ll have the pleasure of witnessing the unveiling of another One Piece episode, the 1137th one. Marking the end of January, it’s a promise of a conclusion for this month, but rest assured, there’s more adventure yet to unfold.
It’s been confirmed that there won’t be a hiatus for One Piece next week, so fans can look forward to reading three consecutive chapters. The upcoming One Piece chapter, number 1138, is scheduled for release on February 2, 2025.
Next Sunday isn’t when we’ll find new chapters of One Piece. Instead, it will take a brief hiatus this coming weekend. But don’t worry, it’ll be back with fresh content on February 16.
Why Oda Has Been Taking So Many Breaks
Oda’s Health And Live Action Have Been Adding To It
2024 marked the year with the highest number of interruptions in the chronicles of “One Piece”. That year, Oda took more breaks than any other, primarily because of his health concerns. Writing a manga is not an effortless task, and even Oda, despite being a renowned artist, has faced its toll. Given the extensive length of “One Piece”, Oda has had to grapple with numerous health issues, particularly during the last year.
Apart from his regular duties, Oda expressed interest in contributing to the “One Piece Live Action” production, causing him to take occasional time off. Notably, it’s common knowledge that the filming for Season 2 of this live action adaptation was underway in the year 2024.
Apart from specific breaks, Oda prefers a balanced routine for overall wellness. After all, creating “One Piece” demands immense effort, and it’s reassuring that he can rest, rejuvenate, and return to provide us with his regular weekly chapters.
It’s likely that 2025 will also have a lot of breaks throughout, but perhaps not as many as 2024.
