Unbeknownst to them, danger is simmering in the Underworld.
In the initial stages of the Elbaf storyline, things have been relatively calm, but One Piece chapter 1137 strongly hints that a significant war is imminent, and Luffy and his team will soon find themselves in the midst of the strongest and most honorable knights from around the world. To put it simply, readers couldn’t help but be captivated by One Piece chapter 1137, eagerly awaiting the next installment, as this series continues to impress with each new chapter.
Luffy And The Straw Hats Explore Aurust Castle
- Road Takes Luffy, Zoro, and Nami Through The Castle
- New Lore On Hajrudin Is Revealed
In the ongoing storyline of One Piece, Luffy and his Straw Hat Pirates are on a mission to obtain the key to Loki’s chains, a plot point set by Oda in chapter 1136. Chapter 1137 continued this narrative, propelling the crew further towards their goal. Fans were captivated by the adventure through Aurust Castle depicted in chapter 1137 of One Piece. Despite being a detestable character, Road proved useful at times, particularly when Nami repeatedly flattered him. The battle scars from the clash that took place six years ago between Loki and King Harald within Aurust Castle were revealed, showcasing the immense power of the 100 Giants involved. In the end, only Loki and Elder Jarul remained standing. Chapter 1137 also provided a detailed look at King Harald’s character design, a fitting representation for such a resolute character. It was also confirmed that King Harald is the strongest King in the history of Elbaf.
In chapter 1137 of “One Piece”, Eiichiro Oda intentionally underscored the immense size of Aurust Castle by conveying a sense of scale in Elbaf that towered above anything previously seen. With each page turn, fans were given a glimpse into just how challenging it would be to depict without the inclusion of Road, as his presence made the task significantly easier for Oda.
Despite typically having a minor role in the plot, Hajrudin found himself under the limelight this week in One Piece. Creator Oda has paved an intriguing path for Hajrudin, making it clear to fans what his aspirations are. As revealed by Road, Hajrudin is a Giant not originally from Elbaf, which means, unlike Loki, he didn’t receive the same treatment as the King and was essentially an outsider. Hajrudin’s goal, too, has been unveiled to fans – to unite all the Giant tribes globally and ascend to the throne as the King of all Giants. This ambition seems to draw heavily on Luffy’s dream and is also well-supported by his past encounters in Elbaf.
New Ancient Giant Lore Is Revealed
The Horned Giants Carry The Blood Of The Ancient Giants
Through several recent chapters, Oda has frequently mentioned the character named Oars. Readers are familiar with Oars as a crucial figure in One Piece lore, rumored to have moved entire continents in days gone by. His power was mythical, even revered by the Giants of Elbaf. In chapter 1137 of One Piece, Oda alludes to Oars once more by focusing on a giant skull adorned with horns. As per Road’s explanation, any beings with horns possess Ancient Giant blood in their lineage, albeit diluted over time.
In a bygone era, the mighty Ancient Giants have ceased to exist, with only Little Oars Jr. representing their lineage. However, the ancestral spirit of the Ancient Giant tribe persists. Creatures like Loki bear the legacy of these ancient beings, much like his father, King Harald did. Interestingly, Loki’s horns serve as a reminder of this heritage, although unlike his father who completely removed his horns to symbolize his rejection of war and destruction.
In chapter 1137 of One Piece, an intriguing unveiling unfolds that leaves fans thrilled! This development provides a long-awaited explanation for certain characters, like Kaido and Yamato, who possess horns. It turns out these characters are descended from the Ancient Giants, though their bloodline has become more diluted over time. Interestingly, Kaido also carries some Ancient Giant ancestry, while Yamato is revealed to be the current bearer of this unique lineage as well.
After returning to Aurust Castle, at last, Luffy and the Straw Hat crew laid eyes on the fallen Giants, slain by the Holy Knights. It’s evident now that the uninvited have started their schemes.
Shamrock Figarland Is Finally Unveiled In The Manga
An Attack By The World Government on Elbaf Is Imminent
In chapter 1137 of One Piece, the most thrilling moment occurred as Gunko and the enigmatic figure persistently attacked Loki. As anticipated, Loki refused his proposals, leading to this point where Gunko demonstrated the incredible abilities of the Aro Aro no Mi in full force. Using her powers, she inflicted severe harm on Loki, ultimately causing him to lose consciousness.
The amazing display from Gunko was undoubtedly impressive, but the real thrill came when another Holy figure took off his cloak. For quite some time, fans had been speculating about this mysterious character, and in this chapter, Oda unveiled that he was none other than Shanks’ twin brother – Shamrock Figarland. A striking resemblance to Shanks, Shamrock has the same appearance except for his long, braided hair, no scar over the left eye, two arms, and a military uniform instead of the pirate attire.
After unsuccessfully persuading Loki to become a Holy Knight, Shamrock has opted for a new approach. He intends to reach out to Marijoa and inform them about an imminent attack on Elbaf. The World Government is desperate to harness the power of the Giants, as they had once conquered the New World independently. Shamrock‘s determination is unwavering, and a confrontation with Luffy has now been scheduled. Patient fans will simply have to wait and witness this unfold, as there’ll be no break coming up, making it all the more exciting.
